Back in the league at the first time of asking.. Well done ...
Good game. Unlucky for Grimsby who played well.

It was a good game. Nice number for odd decisions from the officials. Ross Joyce seemed well up to handling a big Wembley game though. Coincidentally he reffed the Bristol Rovers game at Moss Lane last season.

...and we  got a mention by the Gas manager along the lines of using our win over them to motivate his side.

Joyce had a good game, to be fair. Best two teams have gone up this season, and the worst four have gone down. Not normally the case in this league.

What was the attendance?

47,029.

I believe that we get a proportion of the receipts.

Thanks cult.
I was at Wembly last week, and they were asking me what I thought it would be.
I said 50,000, not too far out.

I was at the match and I didn't think it was a great game, particularly in the second half.
Great atmosphere and a record attendance for a Conference play off final. I think all Conference clubs do get a cut of the profit fro the match.
I didn't think the ref was that bad apart from his decision to give a yellow card to the Rovers keeper for handling outside the box - which is a Red card. If he didn't think it deliberate hand ball then he shouldn't have given a free kick. I was talking to a Rovers fan after the match who thought he was awful.
I would have preferred a trip to Bristol next season.

Damn shame that. Bristol was my best away day last season. Still well done to them, fully deserved as the second place side.

Hard to believe that i came back from holidays a day early  at the start of the season , to watch us play Bristol at Moss Lane , and see us beat them comprehensively , never thought that they were going to get promoted on that performance , well done and good luck to them .

Very true. I was at that game and they were rubbish. Some turn round.
