Title: I don't know how many shots we had on target
Post by: Jezza on April 19, 2010, 07:15:25 AM
If we assume on target as meaning heading for between posts and under the crossbar.....I think it must have been a grand total of two Mr Money....as you scored none and Stuart made two fine saves....yep...two...we had one.

Do these managers not watch the flipping game?...they never seem to know how many shots, crosses or corners they had....

And of course, according to Mr Money's analysis, the pitch was bobbly, which obviously explains why their passes into wide positions were overhit so often in the first half, and why they then decided to give the pitch a soaking at half time.
I think the real explanation of their failure to create more than a couple of really good chances was they didn't have sufficient flair to create space in behind our superb defence. How they could have done with a Nick Clee, who tormented their full back.
So, Mr Money, get them to practice passing in training this week.
