HUNGRY PIGEON ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP WITH HL JEANS CO PLUS SPECIAL GUESTS THE TRAVELLING BAND ANNOUNCED....
Hungry Pigeon are proud to announce that this year’s festival will be brought to you in association with HL Jeans Co by Henri Lloyd.
 
Henri Lloyd was formed in Manchester in 1963 and this partnership fuses an established, pioneering brand with Manchester's fastest growing festival continuing HL Jeans Co association with music events.
 
It's a partnership that will bring
 
* The HL Jeans Co tent into the heart of Piccadilly Gardens with special guest DJS TBC soon
* A funky HL Jeans Co bus which will be showcasing the new collection, with giveaways and lots more….
* Ltd edition HL Jeans Co Hungry Pigeon T-shirts exclusively on sale at the festival and instore at Henri Lloyd, St Ann’s Square, Manchester – launch date tbc

HL Jeans Co spokesperson, Jan Duckworth, said "It’s great to be involved in this city’s biggest outdoor festival, with great bands and venues in and around The Northern Quarter. This association breathes life into our Jeans Collection and we’re delighted we can do this whilst supporting our home city!"
 
As previously announced Athlete headline the mainstage in Piccadilly Gardens * with The Jessie Rose Trip, Misty's Big Adventure, Beggar Joe, Manchester Samba School, Propaganda DJs and the hotly tipped All The Damn Kids from Sheffield. The Official Aftershow for Athlete will be at Propaganda at Moho Live from 10pm.
 
Following their sell out gig at Manchester Academy 3 this weekend we can also announce that the Travelling Band will be special guests at Band On The Wall on Saturday 29th May. Described as "Manchester's great next hope" by Metro and attracting the praise of Glastonbury's Michael Eavis who said “The Travelling Band take me back to my musical roots. Marvellous music to savour and enjoy” after their appearance at Glastonbury last year. The Travelling Band headlined last years outdoor stage in Piccadilly Gardens and this exclusive Band On The Wall appearance will see the band accompanied by a string ensemble.

2 of the Hungry Pigeon team are from Altrincham as welll..... so support local Altrincham folk
