Title: They'll Always Be An England (Unfortunately)
Post by: (S)ALTY on July 09, 2010, 07:57:35 PM
OK just to get you in the mood for the World Cup final and remind you of how bad we really were here's a few snippets of news items relating to England's abysmall performance at Sarf Africa 2010

1.Oxo are introducing a new white Oxo cube with a red cross in support
of the England team. It's called the Laughing Stock

2.The FA have announced that from next season England are changing the 3 lions on the shirt to 3
tampons. A spokesman for the FA said this is to represent the worst
period they have ever had.

3.All future England matches have been moved to the Gay Adult Channel.
Apparently the sight of 11 arseholes getting hammered for 90 minutes was far too explict for ITV

4. According to South African security sources, the reason the angry fan managed to get into the England changing room after
the Nigeria game was due to the fact that Robert Green tried to grab the man but missed.

5 .It's reported that the England team went to visit an orphanage in South Africa the morning after the Nigeria game  –

“it is so good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constant struggling and facing the impossible” said Sipho Umboto
aged 6

6. What have Rob Green and Micheal Jackson got in common ?
They both wear gloves for no apparent reason !

7.All these Rob Green jokes are getting out of hand. In fact, they're crossing the line.

8. Im going to be bold here, and suggest Cappello should play Heskey at left
back.............left back at Heathrow Airport !!!!

Don't blame me for the above they were sent by my sister !

I think it's called a slow news day/week !!

..and besides Alty Blog started it saying MaCaliskey was having a trial at Tranmere

any more contributions greatfully accepted

What’s the difference between the England World Cup team and a tea bag? The tea bag stays in the cup longer.

it's not all about patriotism it's about players failing miserably to match the hype they assist in building up.

Who won in the world cup?  England players.  They will have bagged plenty in their personal bank accounts. Deserved? not in my opinion no.

Personally I'd far rather Alty won the league or trophy than England won the world cup.

Did you not hear that the England players (and rightly so) donated their match fees to charity, a move they announced months before the World Cup?

Apparently David Blaine is annoyed that he has lost his record for time spent doing nothing in a box to Emile Heskey
