Makes sense, Should provide a decent work out against a side similar to bottom half BSN sides we struggled to get to grips with last season.

Well, I suppose Moss Lane is as good a place as any to get pissed and spend all night singing songs about Eric Cantona and various other Man Utd legends.

Argentina and Leeds were subject to a lot of abuse during their play off bottling

That's actually 'Margentina', in tribute to their manager, Karl Marginson

bored already.

Perhaps we can judge all their fans on a rogue family from Salford and they judge all ours from a few posters on here.

Do they still so that thing where they have a gate split on friendlies?  That would be more of a reason not to play them to be honest, never heard of another club do that.

I've never heard of anyone getting half the gate money for a friendly, that's scandalous! I'd rather not play them tbh but it should give us a decent test.

This.

The obsession some people have with FCUM on here is pathetic.

Personally I find them better than their big brother, a business I loathe, but I still don't like FCUM.  To me it's part of a normal healthy football culture to dislike your neighbouring clubs and to deeply deeply despise your derby club.  FCUM fall into the first category for me.

So long as their fans behave themselves and we get some cash then fine.

Lets just play them and let them die in peace.

If they bring idiots, its the idiots fault for being idiots. Its pretty boring now, and although I think they are misguided they have already been disenfranchised so we should go easy on them.

I don't dislike their club per sé, I just find it hard to take them seriously because their fans sing Man Utd songs. I just get the impression that going to FCUM games is largely a way for Man Utd fans to get together and sing songs about their "real" club. It's absolute nonsense to me. It would be a bit like Kidderminster fans singing Aston Villa songs, who would take that seriously?
