Title: Silence from Lee Sinnott???
Post by: JackSwindells No 1 Fan on November 10, 2014, 05:53:24 PM
I am appalled that there is no comment on the website yet from the manager after yesterday's debacle. I hope he went over to the loyal travelling fans yesterday at the end to apologise....
Does anyone know if he has said anything meaningful or not?

John Edwards spoke to Lee Sinnott after the game & there will be articles in both the Advertiser & Messenger during the week.
The manager's views will be posted on the website later today/tonight.

Lee's comments are up on the main site, can't disagree with anything he says, the defending was appalling, but if he is still saying the same things over and over to the players and they aren't grasping it then it's time that he shipped out the ones that he isn't getting through to. Actions speak louder than words. Bomb a few out and shake up that squad.

he needs to start earning his corn and do something about it

If he can't get through to the players maybe he should go? Or maybe the players should go?

The full interview with Lee, rather than selected quotes in The Messenger piece, should be on the main site shortly.

At least if the Blyth match had been played in the Subbuteo League, you could have 'accidentally' knelt on the figure of Robbie Dale, thereby causing him to leave the pitch in several pieces.

To be fair, the tone of that interview is different to any he's given before. What matters now though is that he follows through with changes to the playing staff and his own approach to cup matches.
