Stockport at home would be a good match. See where we have got to.

Southport at home would give us a decent opportunity to get through.

I like the sound of that too, but I think a few Midlands clubs which were not included in the original list, such as Coalville, Grantham, Kidderminster, Nuneaton and Stourbridge, and maybe even Mildenhall, will be included in the northern half.

We are not going to win the FA Troohy, so it would be great to draw some decent teams at home and get a good crowd. If we can use this to bring some people back to Moss Lane that may help our attendances for the season.
Also to test ourselves against some of the Conference North teams, will tell us how far we have actually come this season.

You’re correct SH, Kidderminster and Nuneaton were in the northern half of the draw last year as were Brackley. I assume some clubs are only placed north or south depending on results from previous rounds. If anyone would like a flutter, Alty are currently 35th favourites for the trophy at 100/1

Altrincham v York City for the unofficial El Double Relegatiano derby.

Seeing as we did Vase Winners v Trophy Winners in the FA Cup (and lost to South Shields) it seems the most just outcome of the draw.

Unsegregated though this time please as sneaking into the bar at half-time from the away end can be like an episode of Mr Ben.

Presume it will be tomorrow, probably around lunchtime - that's the usual pattern.

You’re the one who insists on wearing a full suit of armour to away games.

PP took Nantwich to the semis a couple of years ago (when we had our Leamington farce I think) so it's not ridiculous to suggest we could have a good run from our level.

Glossop's nearly as close for me as it is for Glossop Alty - but failing them at their place, lowest ranked at home please.
