Don't think the snow was the issue, it was the rain over past few days. Its waterlogged.

If covers prevent that then should be considered.

It's hardly been torrential!! I've not seen the pitch but for it to be called off it can't have been looked after very well.

Stop using those bloody sprinklers during Autumn ... it was probably down to this that the ground was more sodden than it could have been.

Players have been losing there footing most of the season since we got them

Maybe the club should look into hiring something such as an Air2G2 machine that aerates the soil down to 10 inches its a similar system that is used by fracking which helps with compaction and assists with drainage. The pitch could be done in a day....

The club don’t like technology.
But how much would this cost and what would the benefits be (in layman’s terms)?

It’s time our bucket collections etc had a defined purpose

The club don't like anything unless one of the Rowleys has come up with the idea.

I would think the revenue made on todays fixture had it gone ahead would have left enough to afford a days hire, our golf club uses one on different parts of the course and we have some of the best greens in Shropshire if not further afield all year round.
