Not sure central midfield / centre half is an area we needed strengthen but I suppose a player with that pedigree doesn't come around often. Welcome, Charlie.

Need another forward in my opinion, we only had three when Tom Peers left, and James Poole is currently injured, leaving us with just one forward. Often feel that Jordan Hulme needs a proper strike partner, though I do accept that JJ is doing his bit at present.

Is there a forward signing in the pipeline, as we already have cover in the positions Charlie plays in??

Welcome to Charlie, if you help compliment our current team you will do for me, enjoy your time at the club.

Think we desperately needed a midfielder since Williams got injured

We were watching a striker, north west based as I know the players brother. I won’t name him or the club but he’s quite prolific a few leagues down. It was his birthday a few weeks ago and he got concussed while out so hasn’t been playing. He would be someone I’d like the look of as he’s still young. Newport County have also had scouts watching him

Liam Goulding moves back out on loan, this time to Ashton United.

Another piece of transfer news should be on the way some time this evening, I must say I'm impressed by this one.

In comes Ashley Hemmings on month loan from Fylde.

Another winger and Bostons player of the season before moving to Fylde.

Wow.

Ashley Hemmings does look a very impressive signing, even if he is only with us for a month. He has appeared regularly in the AFC Fylde squad, albeit usually from the bench, including last Saturday, I see.

This on paper is a good loan move.

I am pretty sure he can take a decent corner aswell.

Don't quote me but I think he is left footed so better balance.

Might be harsh on Mantack but I would start Hemmings. Please don't be another Daniels.

A real statement of intent to push on in this league, and as with a lot of loan deals, hopefully there could be scope to go permanent if the spell is successful.

The way AFC Fylde appear to see it is as a short-term loan only, till Jan 14th with the option to reduce to 28 days should the need arise. All the same it gives us another positive option at a time when we have a plethora of games (nine at least scheduled between now & Jan 14th) and will need to make careful use of our playing resources. I echo the hope that this player will be more like Dale than Daniels - though with Telford coming to us (wind & rain permitting!) on Saturday & Daniels likely to be in their squad one might fear the worst from him …

The management team and the board should be congratulated for the continued ambition being shown,.. quite a change from the dark days, seems they were listening after all  ;) :D

I’m not sure double relegation and the alienation of vast amounts of supporters is that funny. And most of the board are new arrivals aren’t they. Look at the empty bar post match for one example of the damage inflicted.

The club losing money through alienating supporters who previously donated thousands to the club is a constant source of amusement for pukka pieman......

Maybe if the chairman did the right thing those fans would return, the club could be united and PP would have even more funds...but investment growth in football clubs never been your strongest subject has it??

Much like Brexit voters, I feel that some people around here are too stubborn, and are simply determined to cut their nose off to spite their face.

Shame, because most of the decisions handed down by the club in the last 18 months have been great ones - oh yeah, and we've got a bloody brilliant team to watch too.

You really should be ashamed of yourself.
But you won't be as you've got more front than Blackpool.
Clearly the Pie is between your ears.
It's people like you, and your little chum further down the thread, who have made me step back from this forum.

The point I was making is that,..  under Sinnott there was a lack of ambition or being pro-active bringing players in and the club was rightly criticised for it, under PP there is no lack of ambition and the club has clearly listened and has been pro-active, (I note Hemmings was identified by a director). This is quite a change from them days isnt it.

So, I should be ashamed for congratulating them  ???? It seems as though some people just want to criticise the club while Rowley is there no matter what. Very one eyed  ::)
