Probably stuck up for his players who had not been paid and were then castigated by the club recently

He probably would have kept them  well away from the relegation zone
I presume pp is off the radar?Apparently some of their fans were scrapping at Blackpool on Tuesday

Seemed to be doing a pretty good job there and has put himself in the shop window for a better job at a club that pays wages.
Same old financial smoke and mirrors with the Milkmen, been going on for years, terrible stench around that club.
Seems some of their idiot fans were chanting "Oyston In" at Blackpool, that's what prompted the fisticuffs. Not clever at all.

According to today's Times Sol Campbell hasn't been paid for several months, as well as the players.

A magic genie will save them though. Again.

I hope that Sol Campbell finds a post with a decent club soon. I was sceptical when he was appointed, but he's done a really good job in difficult circumstances, and he deserves a chance elsewhere.

Macclesfield, on the other hand, deserve to disappear down a large bottomless pit. I normally sympathize with supporters whose clubs go under, but there is an exception to any rule - and Macclesfield are it.
