Hes highly rated but for some reason it didnt work out.Good luck to him at Alfreton hopefully we haven't lost any money

I read the phrase ‘in what represents a good piece of business for Alty’ as meaning Alfreton have paid us a bit more than we paid BPA.

It’s a very valid point. With the exception of Mullarkey who has looked very good (and another Nantwich old boy too) our signings have basically gone back to people who we had on loan last season or we have re-signed old players. I know Parky can bristle at questions sometimes but I think if we are going to progress in future this is an area he needs to look at.

Must be plenty more players out there with more appetite for the game. We need players that are buzzing for 90 minutes, and he just didn't fit that pattern.

I wouldn't say he lacked appetite, it was just that our style of play didn't suit him. Billy Heath's more direct methods may bring out the best in him.
