Title: Kings Lynn Match Thread
Post by: MarpleAlty on January 11, 2021, 08:32:25 AM
Tempting fate, given we have a better idea of where we're at this season, it's one of the first fixtures I'd confidently label us as favourites.

Milder temperatures and a sunny day tomorrow, but the pitch is going to get a hammering tonight - I wonder whether they've considered switching again?

First game since Weymouth that I'd consider us favourites.

Although we've played really well in periods (generally the 2and half) we haven't won in 4.

             Thompson

Senior  Malarkey  Hannigan  Hampson

              Moult   Smith

Kosylo       Hancock     Colclough

                      Harrison

Harsh on Ceesay but it didn't work with him up top on Saturday.

Alty 2-0 KLT (Harrison,  Kosylo)

What's going on the pitch tonight?

100% chance of rain overnight. Dry all day tomorrow though.

Surely they'll be putting whatever covers we have, down on the troublesome corner tonight.

Weird statement. Just one player affected, no one else even isolating but sounds like they cocked up their bubble procedure and the league have postponed it rather than them asking for a postponement. Very odd

they’re all geared up to play in the trophy at weekend.

Maybe didn't fancy the journey midweek - all "enclosed" in a bus on a long journey - when there is a trophy game to be played

Some teams will try anything to avoid coming to us 😂

agreed, they were my thoughts too. Also the FA called the game off and that was a safety first decision too.

it was the national league that called the game off.

With the rearranged games the final three months of the season we have
MARCH
5 home 3 away

APRIL
4 home 1 away

MAY
3 home 2 away

If the season should finish at the end of May and not before on PPG, we’ll be playing 12 home games out of the final 18 fixtures.
Fingers crossed for some agreeable weather in the spring.
