As our Reserve Team have a game on Saturday wonder is any of the 1st team fringe/on way back from injury will feature?

Procedure is they tend not to play in the reserves for this, but that is because they would normally be sent out to a lower league club...so that makes that a very interesting question!

See they drew 2-2 with Broadheath yesterday.

Any one know if any of the first team squad turned out?

Thanks for that... asked similar thing on Reserves Forum as wanted to know if game played & what score was (which you have answered with 2-2) plus also wondered if any fringe 1st teamers/players returning from injury played...

Also was wondering if any of the Reserves look future 'stars' and may possibly make the leap to the 1st team if good enough? Thanks again for update & agree team news would be added bonus...

I have put it on here rather than the reserves forum, but the team has now appeared on FA Full Time.

Joel Torrance would be the goalkeeper, but the team is listed alphabetically, with Curtis Miller being the only player who has played in the league for the first team, although several others have played in the Cheshire Senior Cup.
Substitute Marc Bellingham is the only named goalscorer, which makes me think the other goal was an own goal.

The next game in the group is away at Greenalls Padgate St Oswalds on Saturday, but supporters are not officially allowed.

Am I correct in assuming that although the Cheshire league promotes to level six (i. e. NWCL 2)and several clubs have done so in the past few years, we would be unable to do so as the NWCL do not accept reserve teams? This is a real shame if true as that level would give fringe players a better workout and develop youngsters more who were coming through the system.
I don't think there are suitable alternatives however as the 'academy' leagues don't seem to prepare players fully for the men's game.

Appears the Lge is 'Null & Void' & replaced via a Cup format competition... see above link that also has team & subs etc...
