Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Transfer Targets
« on: January 21, 2023, 10:34:18 PM »
I believe we will see some proper players incoming before the end of January.

Management are fully aware of the issues we are facing in terms of personnel and the outgoings (Goodson and Jackson for example) appear part of a larger plan to me. They wouldn't be off in the absence of players coming in.

Unless CCC will be getting game time at Fleetwood I'd hope they see how well he has developed with us and allow us to keep him but I do think he will be gone come the end of the month.

The way loanees develop at our club can't go unnoticed which makes us an attractive prospect for the Club's around us with great academies, such as Fleetwood and Crewe, to send prospects to us.

Though I sincerely hope we can sign some players players permanently who can make an impact.

We'll be 3 games in and Ollie will be yet to concede a goal.

His stats at Connah’s Quay don't lie!

Chorley's star player Lewis Baines is available and came on for England C against Wales earlier this year, looks the most within our reach based on that squad.

You've got it.

Robbie Williams was an Alty player throughout 2009/10 before spending 2010/11 at Telford and returning to offer his lotta love and affection for the 2011/12 season.

Another big ask against 3rd placed Sutton.

Hopefully get on the front foot early and score first.

                Thompson

Senior  Malarkey   Hannigan    Hampson

               Moult    Smith

Kosylo         Hancock        Colclough

                     Ceesay.

Alty 1-0 Sutton (Hancock)

It really is a strong looking line-up!

I would start Sutton, like others on this thread. Sutton are a very strong side, I prefer Toby for the games where we will be on the front foot more for his ability to progress with the ball and even link up in attack.

I'm on Radio Robins, I look forward to the confusion caused by the matching names.

Would be good to see Gould given a chance in goal for the cup games.

Sadly no stream for us today but if you go to the ground you'll see plenty of puddles.

After a run of unsatisfactory results, the red and whites, who have had great players such as Duncan Watmore, have parted ways with manager Phil Parkinson...

...the former Sunderland boss

Quality these and have got one ordered. Would be interesting to know who has the actual shirts from '95.

I'm looking at you Berlin Alty... (or maybe yours is '93...)

Altrincham FC First Team / England's no.1 on a podcast
« on: August 26, 2020, 03:37:57 PM »
Hope everyone is keeping safe and enjoying their pre-season. Alty TV has been doing wonders with the interviews from the current squad so we thought we would get in Alty legend and fan Stuart Coburn for a podcast.

All credit to him, he was brilliant and spoke about his career from being signed by John King to gaining the most appearances for our club. It ended up being almost 2 hours of content so another episode will be out next week too.

Altrincham FC First Team / PODCAST with Chester fans
« on: July 17, 2020, 12:04:23 PM »
Leading up to the game on Sunday we thought we would get some Chester fans in for a podcast to get us all excited and whatnot.

We have their groundsman and a religious home and away supporter, we had a great laugh.

We speak a bit about Chester generally, transfers and of course the playoffs!

Head to the tweet where you will find links to the podcast, retweets appreciated also: https://twitter.com/nonleaguelounge/status/1283795406653186048

Also, we actually have a few podcasts with some Alty characters including Hulmey, Deasy, James Jennings and THE Brian Flynn, which might be of interest. Enjoy!

I'm hoping to make it down, I'll try to persuade a few more too. Will be good to see some familiar faces.
