Thanks Brian, that's really kind of you and the club.

Thanks to everyone who grabbed me and spoke to me at the game last Saturday.

Let's hope the team can deliver on the pitch this season.

Stuart

Sorrry... I typed Sefton Gonzales Wiki into Google. This is what I looked at on his stats. You're right there is no Wiki !

Sheridan was here 3/4 years ago. Not good enough then? Looked average every time I've seen him since then! That said, he's at a lower level so could do a job? Surely behind Moult and Richman though?

I hope Gonzalez has a point to prove, but could be a dodgy signing if Wiki (on appearances
and goals) and Stockpot forum are to be believed...

Shame, was brilliant for us. Clearly not the same player after choosing Guiseley, Harrogate, us and now BPA. Great character, but lost what he had. Good luck at BPA

Probably not announced who the new man is because his current team is in the play-offs..

OK Golfroader. But, he mentioned his son first. He shouldn't be getting near the first team.

Reeves singled out as not contributing - difficult from the bench.

5 year review... we've had lots of time to map this out. If we wait til next year, it will be a 4 year review.. or we could just defer it and stay in this bubble for another year. Why not.. we're doomed anyway

Stop defending all that is sh*t about the club, wake up to reality. If you believer "we're OK" or, "we'll be OK" then you're delusional, or, not receptive to us changing. This club needs a massive shake up. Get on board, support, not just be one of the 'everything is alright ' crowd..

Watched it all. Firstly, thanks to those recording it.

Absolutely shambolic, the presenters - poor. The chairman - weak, unrehearsed, the outcome! Nothing we hadn't heard before.

Have to say the staging was embarrassing too. Chairman speaks, open up to the floor, first person to speak is Heathcote. Followed by there's your next board member - Sorry  f**k off. Let's breed more nepotism.

Graham  spoke about the quality of Sam - his son first! Really!! . He kicks it up in the air everytime he has the ball. Also  he criticised Reeves, who is probably our highest earner and can't get a game - now we know why!

There's a 5 year plan - not detailed or explained.

Ian Watmore totally protected the board throughout. At no point tonight were they under pressure, apart from two questions (same person) which they skirted around.

Paul Diane - sh*thouse, other board members not interested in talking. Thought Bill Watering spoke passionately.

Unless the whole board resign (excluded Bill) with whatever consequences that brings, we will be as frustrated in future years as we are today.

Shambles...
Expect sponsors, investors to desert the club like the proverbia sinking ship. Long live the sports hall....

What's that Danny Hall like? We could do with a CB next year.

He's played for us before. Not good enough...

Where has this come from? Can't see anything on the website, or twitter?

Good early positive signs from the manager. Now get rid of Crowther, Bowerman, Sinnott and Lawrie and the cull is complete.

Still think we'll struggle to retain Reeves and can't see Rankine fancying it (I'd like him to). Havern will be an interesting one, personally, think he's one of Stockport's "already agreed terms" people.

My point was that I would keep the core of the team. Realistically Clee, Reeves, and Holness will probably go.

Dens, Richman, Moult and Heathcote are all contracted (I'd look to loan Heathcote out)

You'd keep Deasy given his efforts last season, and Leather is arguably our best defender (despite some mistakes at crucial times)

Marshall if/when fit is very good. If be can get back to what he was before his injury, he's good enough.

So yes, I'd keep 9/10 - which will probably end up being 5/6..

Retain Deasy, Densmore, Leather, Holness (if possible), Richman, Moult, and Reeves.

Heathcote contracted - but would loan out, not good enough.

The rest can go. I'll get hammered for Lawrie - should have gone last season, and Haven - Just doesn't do it, and Griffin - beaten too many times by wingers.

Finally Sinnott... 1) doesn't want to be here, 2) at RB,too far off the line and gets beaten, 3) at RM, doesn't do enough consistently (Welling excepted)

If I missed anyone, it's because they're not good enough...

Sheffield Alt
y - 100% right.

I would keep Deasy Densmore, Leather, Holness, Marshall,  (if we can), Richman(contracted), Moult, and Reeves.

Clee if we can and Rankine (unlikely)

The rest can go. Havern, not good enough, Griffin- too slow, Sinnott - no comment , crowthe r (always I'll),  Lawrie- inconsistent, mostly poor...,

Heathcote contracted, but should be loaned out.

Everyone else loan or get rid...

And... get a new manager!!

I'm sure theres a stupid Cheshire FA rule about playing 60 - 70% of your previous matchday squad?!

My team would be:

Parton
Leather CB
Havern CB
Brown LB
Reserve team RB
Crowther LW
Sean Williams CM
Gillespie CM (needs some game time!)
Heathcote RW (or another Reserve team RW)
Perry
Swift

Bench - Reserve team players

Rest Coburn, Marshall, Griffin, Richman, Lawrie, Clee, Reeves, Moult, Cavanagh, Densmore....

Who is Brown the LB? Also, isn't Heathcote Jr a CM by trade?
Sure he plays in the reserves. I saw him play pre-season (think against Mossley). Although it's also highly possible i'm making it up :-)
