Just up the M40 from me. Will take the train and take in some of Oxfordshires fantastic ales.

Are Donnington Ales still going strong?

From my own selfish perspective, I'm very happy with Oxford and Solihull on Saturdays early in the season. Beer will flow.

Is that Chester (A) game on a bank holiday? Easter Monday, perhaps? If so, we could take loads.

Brackley are probably going to be one of the challengers this season, so all is not lost if we fail to win the opener...

Yes it is Easter Monday

and Summer Bank Hols home to Chester - should bring a big crowd early in the season.

It looked a nail on penalty for them and the defending for their goal was unintelligent and weak.

Unless we start losing matches left, right and centre, Lee and Neil should be there til the end of the season at least.

You get home from work and see that we drew  and think that's ok. Then you see the nature of the draw and end up with a feeling of great disappointment.

However, I should think (AND HOPE) the level of disappointment on the team bus home would be greater

(That was not an easy message to type, not that it was difficult to put together, but Heathcote was between me and the keyboard!).

Of the three home games this season, we have averaged 3 points when Nicky Clee wheres black boots and 1 point when he wears white boots.

Very Motty-esque!  ;D

and we are one of them.

and we're one of only 9 teams with a positive goal difference.

So there's a couple of things to be optimistic about.

Hi all, been listening to the commentary a while without getting on the forum. I'm finding it very frustrating as I'm not sure Lee has his best team/formation yet.

And JM says that if there's any more swearing she'll have to switch the commentary off!

This reminds me of when heskey was getting picked all the time as he 'complimented' Owen very well, what a load of bollox!! Playing someone because he can just hold the ball up, lol sounds like pub team ethics

I love the idea of Heskey saying, "Great pass Michael, you're very handsome Michael, nice haircut Michael....!"
