The most influential returned on the list so far has to be Mr. S. Coburn, if only for his length of service to the club. It was a privilege to watch him.

Cap doffed in his direction.

On you tube last night it was said that Dover had confirmed they won't be playing.

While we're on the subject of Match of the Day 2, where on earth have the BBC recruited Vicky Sparks from ? I had to watch Villa v Leicester with the sound muted. She's got the most irritating voice I've ever heard on a football commentary - it's like chalk on a blackboard.

The BBC have to tick their quota boxes! (Sky are as bad!)

I have no issue with box-ticking. You probably watch "Sportscene" up there in haggis country. They have 3 female presenters, none of whom cause me any problem. It's that voice !

Don't watch that crap!

I have an issue with box ticking because I am old fashioned and like the best person for the job, no matter the race, sexuality, gender!

That'd be nice. The old school tie may open fewer doors now, but the hangover lingers.

Nothing to do with old school tie; just the best for the job.

Gender, colour etc should never come into it.

I agree totally. My point is that before gender monitoring etc etc, it wasn't the best for the job then either.

John Inverdale. His voice makes my brain frazzled. Luckily I don't watch much he covers.

One of my fave bits of Radio Robins / Alty tv is his goal at Grantham. "Goal gaol goal it's Chris Merrie with the goal".

Well done him.

A fine moment, one of many, from Laurence Howarth.

Watching it again now...

Excellent. I've had bouts of anxiety and depression for most of this century, it's so important to talk and seek support.

Top work Alty.

Witton had / have more in common with us, than divide us - mostly sharing a natural distaste for all green and white named Victoria!

One can certainly hope that the vaccines are "great" (and the pharmaceutical companies are exempt from liability if they're not...)

But if they are going to put life on hold every time a new variant comes along until they have a vaccine for it, we could be here a long time. And the vaccine pushers will get very rich...

And if "vaccine passports" are needed to attend sporting events as has been suggested, inevitably there will be those who are unwilling to take these experimental "vaccines" and thus will not attend matches under these circumstances. We are certainly getting the hard sell from the pharmaceutical companies.

No vaccine passports. These are not experimental vaccines. The flu vaccine changes each year. I have one every year, it's a doddle.
