« on: April 10, 2024, 07:05:56 PM »Gateshead game at Fylde in doubt tomorrow night. They aren't going to be playing consecutive nights next week. You can see where this is going. Gateshead and Halifax will be given preferential treatment.
Can't see the season being extended meaning they will have to play on consecutive nights

« on: April 07, 2024, 02:50:02 PM »I think we're all getting a bit more confident of reaching the play offs, but here's the big question, can we secure a home game in the qualifiers? - ie finish fourth or fifth? I'm not sure. What do you lot think?
I would like to think 4th or 5th are achievable . Don't want Halifax and definitely not at the Shay with their pitch .If Aldershot lose at Gateshead on Tuesday we will finish in the top 7 .Think it might mean having to beat Oxford at home to get a home tie .

We're absolutely threadbare in midfield again. Can we even get a loan in at this stage?
After the Shots result the Battle for Top 7 is pretty much won - but the battle for Top 5 is totally up in the air.
I think the deadline to sign players was towards the end of March but im not sure if that includes loans

Time to discover whether the lad from York can come up trumps for us. I'm sure he will!
Four points from the last two might see us claim fifth spot which would be a fantastic achievement.
Here's hoping Kidderminster can do us a favour and pip Halifax this evening. 🤞
Mitch Hancox did look half decent v Oldham, presumably it will be him who replaces Wilson
