The board can't say anything until negotiations are concluded and the other club has made an announcement. Also if the oldham deal falls through, I'm sure there will be other bids, so they can't even say he is staying.

The club is on a different level now, so we shouldn't expect ongoing commentary from the board.

2-0 up at half time and dominating. We need to see games off. 4-0 at half time wouldn’t have flattered us. What does Parky tell them at half time??

Time to go Parky. Thanks for everything but you are taking us backwards now.

How ridiculous? Described as the best manager in the league by Adam Virgo. Apart from anything else, how do you propose we pay up the remaining 20 months of his contract?

I’m shocked you think Adam Virgo’s opinion on non league football means anything. If you’re happy drawing a game that you’re 2-0 up in half way through, have hit that bar and had a penalty saved with your goalkeeper having saved 1 shot at goal then our footballing ambitions are miles apart

Merely pointing out highly rated Phil is .Sacking Phil is not the answer, giving him some money and time to strengthen and work on the training pitch is the right approach imo. I would suggest our ambitions for the club are the same as Phils and the board - we want the club to be successful.

To be fair to Bill, he couldn't say anything else. As he said he might sound "happy clappy" but that's his job. Slagging off the manager and players on air is hardly good for the morale or motivation of either, let alone sponsors and investors.

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: 2021/22 Season Ticket Discount
« on: June 02, 2021, 12:37:08 AM »
Unless impacted financially by the Pandemic, and if you have then I apologise in advance, should any supporter be asking for a discount more than the 10% offered by the Board?

Incidentally there is a big difference between £10 and 10% of £295.00 particularly x 300 season ticket holders. The club has had a difficult year financially and thankfully now has long overdue ambition, as a supporter base surely we owe it to the Board to back them?

Hi Darren, question 9 is for you to add any views from a non disabled perspective.

We want to get the views of disabled supporters experiences, but also ideas and thoughts from the wider fanbase.

Your experiences will be really useful, so will come back to you directly if that's ok with you?

Its waiting for someone to step up and take the lead I guess. It should be supporter led, not by the club.

I don't remember anyone threatening to resign last year, but received papers this year for the first time in years. I don't see the point in the standing for re-election because his family and fan club will vote him back in on a landslide in any case.

From the Club's website - please pass on to friends and family, the more donations the better!

Alty backs clothing for Manchester's homeless appeal

We are appealing to our generous supporters to back stallholders at Altrincham Market in their campaign to collect coats and jackets to donate to Manchester’s growing homeless community by bringing donations to our upcoming FA Trophy match at The J.Davidson this Saturday 24th November against Bradford (Park Avenue).
Don Grant, Lesley Britton, Hannah Burns and Jacqui Evans are asking for donations of any spare warm clothing so that they can be passed on to Homeless Project Manchester.
There are estimated to be 500 long-term rough sleepers in Greater Manchester, with over 3,000 people homeless when taking into account those in temporary accommodation, couch-surfing, or in bed and breakfasts.
As well as coats and jackets you can also donate clean sleeping bags, blankets, warm winter clothes, thermal underwear, socks, vests, socks, boots, hold-all bags, and other cold-weather items.
All donations will be distributed to those who need them across Greater Manchester by the volunteer team at Homeless Project Manchester.

Great idea - Bernard is a club legend, particularly for those of us that were able to celebrate some exciting times with him during his 2 reigns as manager. I agree with Ecky, “For the Fans” was his motto and he loved the Golf Road faithful as much as we loved him.

The same Neil Tolson that will be regarded as one of our worst managers?

So he's stubbornly sticking around then, even though there may be better candidates out there?
