Really worried about this; was hoping for a loanee or two to be honest.
Aljofree captains United under 21s tonight in a team including Maxi.
United 1-4 down at halftime. Aljofree not looking way off the pace.

I heard on the nltv stream that he had signed for another month...

As one of the commentators on the NLTV stream on Saturday don’t believe everything you hear !

I think I may be responsible for that misunderstanding. I was speculating when his loan spell was due to end and may have mistakenly mentioned the end of February.

My apologies for any confusion caused.

What's the situation with Ollie Byrne and Joey Jones? Could they be available?

Good shout re: Ollie Byrne, I suspect he'll be given a go in goal assuming there's no reason why he wouldn't be available.

I get the impression that Joey Jones might be a little while longer, but hopefully Matty Kosylo can feature a bit - and Regan Linney can be given his first start since returning.

By way of an update, Joey Jones was our second half Alty TV match summariser v Solihull at the weekend. He confirmed he was just about to start running work again this week after his broken ankle. It will be the new year before he is likely to be available for selection.

One thing I noticed that others might have missed, is that Sonny Aljofree took the number 5 shirt.

Has Kyle Ferguson returned to Harrogate?

I do think so. He was in the crowd with a number of the other first team squad.

Really frustrating……the constant interruptions.  I suspect that they are running an automation programme of some sort and still have not sorted out how to program it during games.
It's the signal. The music is programmed to kick in when the signal drops. Professional broadcasters use ISDN lines or 4G/5G boxes that have multiple SIMs and hunt the best signal from every available network. Most non league grounds don't have ISDN lines and the equipment to ride multiple mobile networks is far from cheap. That means we have to rely on a single 4G/5G network or the club's own WiFi - and that, inevitably, means some dropouts at some grounds.

That may well be the case, but we have always been at the mercy of the home club’s Wi-Fi. Since Radio Robins has changed to the Radio Alty platform the quality of service/ reception has declined. Yesterday was particularly frustrating and probably the worst so far.

The original platform used may not have been perfect but in my view was more reliable than the current Radio Alty platform.

RR sounds strange tonight

Since they moved to the Radio Alty platform the service has been poor.

Nothing but music at the moment.

The same for me

Bring back Ceefax

Just as a point of interest as I wasn’t able to be at Moss Lane last Tuesday, were the radio Robins and Alty TV crew allowed in the popular side gantry to cover the match.

Yes but they were using a ladder up rather than the stairs which looked even more dangerous

The BBC erected their own scaffold tower and provided their own ladder. Alty TV broadcast from the gantry and Radio Robins were relocated from the Press Box to the front of the main stand to allow/accommodate local radio requirements.

I'm not sure who's been overseeing the postage of items from the club but it has been verging on the amateurish.

I know of problems relating to the delivery of the respective programmes produced for the play-off success in 2020 and the closing fixture of the 2020/21 season against Torquay United.

Inexplicably, there were instances in which programmes were posted out in cheap and flimsy envelopes (not even hardback) with the result that the items arrived having been damaged in transit and/or insufficient postage had been paid by the club, thereby entailing that the purchaser had to venture to the nearest sorting office in order to fork out for the excess postal charge and collect the item.

Somebody was also under the bizarre misapprehension that you affix postage stamps to the top left-hand corner of envelopes. Schoolboy howler there.

The standard of postal deliveries certainly needs to be sharpened up, particularly if the club do intend to offer the postal subscription service for next season's home programmes that was mentioned earlier this year.

Same here - the club never put a stamp on my Torquay programme.

Not only did I have to pay the excess postage, I had to make two visits as the Post Office Sorting Office counter was only open up to 10.00 am ! ☹️☹️

would be interesting to know the other locations. i think its only the end thats filmed in hale. A lot of it seems to be flimed around Eccles. i think the power station in the background in one scene could be Barton.

Edit: I think the fact they are called Barton United is a bit of a giveaway.

If you google Kirkman Avenue which is the street they keep practicing on, it really exists in Peel Green which is close to the Barton Swing Bridge.

Patricroft Recreation Park is shown nearby which looks like the park they are chased off by the park
keeper.

Some interesting shots of Old Trafford including the old ticket office windows and the construction underway of the original cantilever stand built for the 1966 World Cup.

Anyone else think that Barton’s trainer/kitman could be a young Fozzie ? !

I actually found the commentary quite jarring tonight.

Sorry fellas.

Agree. I found the constant talking quite annoying so turned the sound down. Is the same commentary used for Radio Robins? If so, maybe that explains the constant need to fill air time, but it's still incredibly irritating.

Apart from the first trial live stream, we now have two separate commentary teams for ALTYTV Live and Radio Robins. Radio Robins now broadcast from their original commentary position at the back of the  main stand.

https://www.eastleighfc.com/live-streaming/

After looking at Eastleigh's twitter & website it appears they do have a streaming service (like i assume most teams will have)... they highlight a Season Pass plus a one-off stream for their home game v Torquay midweek...

Assume Alty game streaming info will be posted later in week... above link mentions season pass PLUS also single game streams that will cost £7.99... lets hope we can watch...

Alty TV Live are only able to stream the homes games from the JD Stadium.

Radio Robins will however be providing their usual full match commentary of all games home and away.

Fantastic result From the boys. Didn’t sound like classic but who cares !
Great commentary on Radio Robins .
Look forward to seeing the highlights later on Alty TV
