Ashley Cricket Club will be holding its annual beer festival this weekend, the event starting on Thursday night at 6pm.

Each year, Altrincham FC supporters and staff team are invited to play Sale Sharks Supporters Club in a Friday Night T20 cricket match. In previous years, Sale have got the better of us. They have named their side and, now we need to do the same. There is plenty of ale, cider and gin to drink afterwards, not to mention a BBQ and the rock, pop and blues band, Graffiti Tree.

Can all those who are interested in playing please either PM me through here with your contact details, or email me at Anthony.Wright18@googlemail.com

To be fair Colin Little could also miss a few penalties

Great signing - looked an impressive young goalkeeper when he was here last season

I'm pretty sure that when we were in the BSP we played a home game against Dagenham & Redbridge and away game against Burton on a Sunday

I can't understand why Simon Richman had been left out for so long. He has been one of the most underrated players this season and I would start with him on the right.

He has been unavailable for selection due to illness

how much is the offer then?

Baring in mind his contract runs until the summer and he can leave on a free to sign for a league club in the january transfer window, is it worth cashing in on Damian should a suitable offer be put on the table?

Regardless of his contract situation, I'd hope that Damian would command is larger transfer fee than the club record of 50,000 we received for Kevin Ellison.

Im pretty sure that Damian signed a two year deal in the summer and so has 18 months still to go. I cant see him taking a step down given his desire for league football

To be fair be Brooke he is still only really young at 21 and, still needs to develop. Mitchley has been out injured for a while and needs to gain match fitness.

As has been mentioned above both were signed after Reeves had left in the summer. It would be difficult for whatever striker came in to follow in those footsteps.

Bear in mind that Reeves hadnt exactly set the world alight before he joined us

I don't understand why the manager took our best players off. Fair enough if Clee went off injured, but i don't think Reeves and Watmore were injured.

Perhaps Lee thought the game was dead and buried at 1-0 and wanted to rest our two main goal threats. Maybe if we were 3-0 up he might have a point, but taking off the top goalscorer in the country with only a very tight 1-0 lead seems a bit daft.

Watmore went off injured, but all being well will be fit to play some part on Tuesday
