Sounds like a fun night, we'll price up some strobe lights and a smoke machine at our end. Wayno, let's meet and discuss a playlist.

In the meantime, if anyone would like to check out upcoming events, or find out more about some of our weekly activities, feel free to check out: www.altrinchamfccsh.com or follow our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Random request, but we are looking for anyone who has experience with trees, possibly a tree surgeon. As part of our upcoming Halloween party for children, we are looking to decorate the room in a scary woodland theme. If you think you could help, please don't hesitate to email: stacey@altrinchamfootballclub.co.uk

That's great to hear, it will be good to see some new faces. Bring along a drink and wear some casual/sports clothing suitable for indoors.

Our walking football session on Wednesday mornings (9.00-10.00am) has been running for nine months now. The weekly sessions are a friendly, social activity, open to all ages and abilities.  With recent demand to add another WF session, for those who work during the day, we have decided to give it a go.

As of Wednesday 12th October, we will be launching a SECOND weekly session: Wednesday evenings 8.30-9.30pm. These new Wednesday evening sessions will be FREE throughout October and November.

AFC volunteer and lifelong AFC fan, Colin Mitchell, has attended Walking Football from day one and says: I have a great time at the walking football sessions as some of my Alty friends go, so it gives us the chance to catch up. It's a good opportunity to meet new people too. When the hour is over you know you've had a good workout. No running allowed obviously but it is still a great way to help keep fit, I usually do about 3 miles walking every session. Suitable for all, so I would advise anyone to give it a go."

If you would like to know more, call 0161 928 1045 or turn up to a session and try it out.

We are pleased to say we have successfully received a Sportivate grant to help fund a new pan disability football course at the Community Sports Hall. As part of our expanding community work, disability football is the one area we have yet to cover.

We now have football across all ages, abilities and genders at the club:
Toddlers: Alty Mini Kickers (Aged 2-3 and 4-5)
Youth: AFC Juniors
Adult: Ladies, Reserves, Supporters
Seniors: Walking Football

The new course we are running is six weeks long and players must be able to attend all six sessions, Wednesdays 4.00-5.00pm, commencing 26th October. This course is free, but places are limited, so please email us (community@altrinchamfootballclub.co.uk) to find out more or to book a place.
If the course is successful, it will allow us to continue into the new year and hopefully one day, we may be able to field our first ever Altrincham FC Disability Football team.
