As per message from Hughesy. I have blocked the IP Address and deleted any further ones I could see.

Hopefully this will work - If not I have a back up plan - but hoping this sorts it.

 :)

The best one is "Come On Alty" sung over and over for minutes on end. I'm sure it's one that gets under the skin of opposing teams. I first became aware of it when Morecambe fans (shouting "Come On Morecambe", obviously) did it for what seemed like an entire second half about twenty-five years ago.

Agreed!

I bumped into Kenny Pallin wearing his Alty scarf of course whilst working in Ashton-under-Lyne in the 90's. I asked him how he was & what he was doing, without a pause he said "sight seeing" then walked off.
To this day it still puzzles & amuses me.

The legend!

Utter sh*thouse behavior.

Hope he's clubless come May

That is not the Alty way. He has been very good for this club and Rochdale put in the highest bid.

i do not think it is the best move for Toby - he could be back at the JD next season - but if he was intent on a move then good luck to him.

So the loan to Waterford may still be on then...

Would suggest it stops him being poached by other clubs, Fleetwood wont want huim going cheap

That's what happened to their budgerigar!

I dont agree re Byrne.  He is very young as has the potential to get better and better.  This very same team with a couple of other players just went 10 unbeaten.

Yes, however, who did we play in that time, mostly midtable and a 2nd XI Wrexham.

If we're to be a PO side, we're going to have have 5/6 PO level players or players capable of those levels.

I love optimism!

Just as an interesting point, tomorrow night we are playing against a striker who has hit 21 in 28 games. To be honest, even though the player is from a lower league, these are the sorts of players we can look at. I know it doesn't mean it will work at a higher level, but they are worth at least a look. Saw that in the Alty site in the match preview and alarm bells started ringing. These players are looking for chances bat a higher level I am sure.

Need to recall Zak Goodson maybe sooner rather than later.

Isn't there a forward at Nantwich who impressed pre season? Iwonder if he is worth another look.

Dan Cockerline? From memory I believe he's at University and has no desire to go full-time.

Thanks, that's the chap!

Very interesting. I know Hugill is highly thought of.

I saw a couple who supported FC Halifax Town at a hotel in the lakes (in 2019?). They were alright to be fair and looked forward to possibly seeing us in the Conference in the futureif we got promoted. I also saw a Chester "City" supporter up Snowdon in 2020 who told me he hated Alty and was tired of losing to us, which was quite funny.(Incidentally, is it true about all the pubs in Paisley closing down at one point, similar to Partington?).

I'm nit brave enough as an Englishman to go to pubs in Paisley (my annual pub visit is Costello's) but shops are closing at 2010s Alty rates.
I blame my daughter for liking Paisley, I just go for the stunning Hungarian lass who works in a cafe there!

Bumped into a chap in a shop in Paisley the other day - a scout (I didn't catch his name) - who recognised my scarf and said he was a friend of one of the Alty family: Nigel Bunce.

It is wonderful when Alty is recognised across the country; it is how I befriended a Scunny fan in Largs.

Of course, I do get accused of being a fan of teams from Sunderland to - embarrassingly - Aberdeen!

Anyone else had any of these great, random meetings?
