Anybody who doesn't believe we are a club with the potential to be in the Football League is scared or mislead by the current leaders

Keep them coming.

Links will be going out on social shortly, but for those unable to make it due to existing Thursday night commitments, please submit questions for the board or manager here: https://app2.sli.do/event/2uirg03l/ask or post a comment below and it can be added to the list.

It works well on mobile, tablets or laptop.

Or simply "like" a question you wish to hear the answer to  Smiley

Have also added two questions for the board on www.sli.do

Can anyone confirm if they have agreed to accepting questions via this format?

They agreed, but yet to see anything public.

I think Andrew is implying he can't be arsed... as he would be the one to do it

I was half joking with my response, itís not a question of not being arsed enough to do it - I just donít think itís one to stream live. I may live tweet the PP q & a.

Something to hide, Andrew?

Nothing in the slightest, itís just simple PR. Why would I want to potentially air the clubís dirty laundry on a live broadcast to the general public? If someone feels strongly enough about something then they should be there to ask the board a challenging question, in person.

We've live streamed these before to great success - even at our our lowest point with Matt Doughty.
Not all fans live in close proximity to the ground, can commit to attending the club more than once a week, but may wish to hear Phil or the board.

I have put it to the board to use a simple, user friendly website to collate questions in advance and on the night, to be displayed on the projector behind them.

Fans can also "like" a question they also wanted to hear an answer to (to allow it to be moved higher up the pecking order).

This allows people who can't get there to ask questions as well the key important questions to get put ahead of other more mundane ones, like Phil Parkinson's favourite crisps.

The website is free, can be set up minutes and doesn't register any logging in. Let's see if the board are willing to answer all questions or just those simple asked by whoever can hold on to the microphone.

Visit www.sli.do and enter E679 to submit your question.

I wonder if the club will live stream

Another complete overreaction. A few sad lonely people on this forum. When having a Q&A session about the football club, why wouldn't you have the manager of the mens first team of that football club present?

Because the board said they have no impact on the pitch issues, and likewise by the same token Phil doesnít affect.
One is working, one isnít. Therefore I doubt thereís much to ask Phill compared to the board.

Oh dear, looks like another admin has been defeated and gone off to do better things with his time.  Well done Chris for sticking it out this long.

If I was an potential investor doing my due diligence (even on a mobile phone in a bar) I'd be looking round the social media and then get onto the "fans forum".  Hopefully someone could explain the backstory to this and some of it's worst posters to make sure they could see past it and that is is still a worthwhile investment.

Sadly I think attacking your own football club has been become so ingrained in some peoples routines that they have forgotten what the actual point of watching a football club is.  If they are honest a new man at the helm would just be fresh meat, wait for the first thing that they don't agree with and off we go again.

Something as simple as having a Q & A with the manager and the board is seen as outrageous on here?  Should we do one of the Thursday and one on the Friday so people who are interested in both come away from families twice?

For the record, my opinion remains the same that the club needs serious repairs off the field and my feelings on needing a new leader remain exactly the same.

It will take a long time to rebuild the damage of the last two seasons and it takes a long time to turn spectators into supporters.

Thank God we have a brilliant young manager who doesn't deserve any of this.....and so sad to see that the fans forum is a place where a new fan would probably not bother to get involved in.

I'm not sure there's any need for a meet the manager at this stage of the season

Not sure that is a reason not to have one.

Having no reason not to have one, is not a reason to have one.

Ashton, marine and Trafford have all planned secondary inspections for later and have made a call for volunteers to help get the games on now the rain has passed.

Trafford has passed

It happens at all levels and in all walks of life. I doubt there's anyone in the crowd tomorrow that has never said anything that they haven't later regretted. I know I have and I also know that I haven't apologised for it as often as I probably should have.
I don't think we can expect anyone to be infallable and that includes the board. At the moment there every move leads to some kind of criticism.

I know everyone has their own aspirations for the club but if we end up back in the conference north next season playing entertaining football I'll be satisfied.

Nobody is perfect and everyone does indeed make mistakes. But when those mistakes are recklessly made in a position of authority and responsibility in an organisation, and those mistakes impact on that organisation's stakeholders then that's a very different scenario.

I guess we should do away with the criminal justice system then, if people make continual mistakes. there needs to be consequences.

Agree entirely with the last 2/3 posts here. I recently contributed to a long article in a national football fanzine about us and our various off pitch issues and like many on this thread am convinced without change at board level that the divisions as seen on here daily will not heal & long term nothing will really change at the club. However, at the same time I can appreciate the magnificent winning football being served up and the team PP & Neil Sorvel have created.

I think many of us know there is primarily one person on here (and also repeatedly on the Evostik Facebook) who with his constant sniping and repetitive tone just exacerbates divisions, offers nothing constructive (Ďarsedí) and delights in riling people up and then plays the innocent card afterwards. Odd because Iíd imagine virtually every regular poster on here knows and has chatted with him at the match. A lot of us want change but there is a way to debate & show respect towards others.
Yeah nice article, one where you didn't even mention 51% of the club was up for sale? Talk about making a gaff

Listen instead of trying to have a pop at me and making me a scapegoat, you talk about exacerbates divisions you talk about debate and showing respect?

Why not have a pop at the director who said stay away fans can f**k off? Quite frankly I think its one of the most disgraceful things I've ever heard. Yet you and others on here quite happy to brush it under the carpet and have a pop at me instead?

If you think this is just me then your deluded, my only fault is I live in hope that one day of getting our club back. Maybe I should follow the lead of others and totally switch off until that happens

Yes please do, that would be a most positive step Grin

Yet more contempt from pro-Rowley supporters for people that are seeing him and the board for their true worth. Youíre just feeding the fire and making it worse.

I don't believe anyone is knowingly showing contempt - the anti-Rowley opinions are and will continue to be respected so long as they are not repeated ad nauseum and don't take over every single sodding conversation on the forum! These rants/snipes etc against the chairman are so boring and now, as far as many forum members are concerned, ineffectual. As I've said before, rather than banging on that you're not happy, if its that important do something positive to rectify it! The walkout was almost a year ago. Offer a solution.

These positive steps are block by the club.
