Altrincham FC First Team / Two sign forms for Alty
« on: March 18, 2016, 03:10:48 PM »
From official site:

Altrincham FC welcomes Gateshead winger James (Jimmy) Phillips to the J. Davidson Stadium on loan till the end of the current season. Jimmy (born 20 September 1989) has recently been on loan at Macclesfield.
He has made more than 120 appearances in the Football League for Burton Albion, after he had started his career with Stoke City. The Potters loaned him to Alfreton Town and Stafford Rangers before his release from the Britannia Stadium in summer 2009. It was then that he joined Burton.

In March 2014 he had another loan spell with Alfreton Town, in the Conference. In summer 2015 he signed for Gateshead and in February 2016, he went to Macclesfield Town on loan.

Also signing National League forms for Altrincham is youth team amd Alty Reserves' graduate Tom Westall. Tom currently plays at left-back for the Reserves but formerly operated on the wing for Altrincham's youth team. Tom has impressed caretaker manager Neil Tolson in training, having made his first-team debut earlier this year in the Cheshire Senior Cup.

Altrincham FC First Team / Help The Robins
« on: February 22, 2016, 10:47:44 AM »
In view of the recently publicised need for help at the club I decided to set up a web page with accompanying Facebook and Twitter pages. The idea is to provide a platform for people to easily volunteer their efforts or get involved with fundraising activity at the club. The key aspect of the social media pages is to try and get this awareness outside of the "same old people" who, in many cases, are already doing all that they can by attending matches and buying (for example) a burger or a pint. Therefore, I would ask that people share the Facebook and Twitter pages as much as possible, as this will only take a moment of your time, but will ensure that this reaches the widest possible audience. There have already been some encouraging responses in the first couple of days since the web page went live and this will hopefully continue over the coming days and weeks.

Altrincham FC First Team / Damian Reeves
« on: January 18, 2016, 09:30:41 AM »
What a huge relief it was to see his name on the teamsheet on Saturday. I was worried he'd be out for a lot longer and if he gets good service from our new flying wingers we could really start adding to our goal tally at last.

From official site:

Altrincham entertain Chester FC at the J. Davidson Stadium this Saturday (24th) in the FA Cup Fourth qualifying Round (3pm). Altrincham FC has issued the following statement as regards the location of away fans within the stadium...
"Due to the number of enquiries that we and Chester FC have had concerning segregation for Saturday's FA Cup fixture, we would like to state that, following a meeting between the Club and the local police, due to the numbers predicted to travel, the Chester fans will be housed in the normal away terracing but covered accommodation will be made available to travelling fans if inclement weather conditions are predicted/occur".

Altrincham FC First Team / Clee + Reeves = Goals
« on: October 03, 2015, 06:16:45 PM »
Fantastic to see Reeves on the scoresheet today and with Clee making his long-awaited return from the bench, I hope this will see us starting to improve our "goals for" column in the coming weeks.

Let's keep this little run going for as long as we can.

For Tamworth!!

I know it's local for him, but I thought he'd get a gig higher than conf north. That is a cracking signing for them.

At 41:51 there are brief highlights of our 1-0 win at Kidderminster in 1994, the day they won the title. Definitely worth a look.
