Having seen the pitch the other day on line, I wouldnt be surprised if it isn’t called off again. Hope I’m wrong, if it goes ahead. Alty 3 - 1 Eastleigh.

Parky has just stated on Radio Alty that the pitch on Saturday was not playable in his view and he thinks the ref made the right call.

That brings this discussion to a close then 😀

If the covers had been taken off yesterday it would have helped. Let the (non freezing) air get at it for all of yesterday and this morning would have helped. In situations like this where a team has to travel the day before it should have been inspected last night at the latest

It hasn’t had freezing temps there for over 24 hrs now it would have been ok to play on it. They are taking the piss

I would give Ethan a new contract until he is about 40 ensuring he stays here….

The min temp down there from now until ranges from plus 2 degrees up to 5 degs by kick off. No frost at all so I would suggest that the chances of the game going ahead is pretty good.

Reports on the West Mids news is that Nuneaton are considering going into liquidation and have withdrawn from their league.

Troy Deeney apparently sacked by FGR after only six games

Yes, hes gone

Another classic example of an ex footballer unable to transition into management

It was not a near PP master class it was a fkn manager who picked the wrong team and dissed the competition,Kiddy, and also our fans who went.

We could have won that by half time , Kiddy were that poor, then you make the changes…
Absolutely fuming.

Had CCC put that pen away we’d have been talking about how brilliant it was to have rested legs and gone through to the next round. It was enough to get through but if you don’t take your chances when they’re gifted to you that can happen. Chesterfield rested their entire squad yesterday for our match Tuesday and we have 7-8 games this month. I think resting some players was always going to happen.

Ifs and buts . … however he missed the pen in normal time and the rest is history.. The game on Tuesday is not a do or die fixture. There are lots of games left to play in the league and whether we win lose or draw v Chesterfield it will not have much affect where we end up in april

So we're keeping our powder dry with an eye on Tuesday then?
Really hope it works out for us 🤞

Come on you Supers 👍 🇦🇹 🏆 🥇 🇦🇹 (🍷) 😉

Hmmm

Hmmm.

I fear the worst for Tuesday now - the lads don't have long to pick themselves back up again.

Forget about Tuesdays game. It’s beating the teams like Kidderminster et al that determines if we get to the playoffs come April not getting something against the Odds on Red hot title favourites on a freezing cold Tuesday night in January in Derbyshire.

I read somewhere a while ago that Peterborough were very interested in CCC.
