It's likely to be we welcome applications from prospective candidates, including Matt Doughty who "has done a good job in tough circumstances" and interviews will take place at the end of the season.

Anything other than this would be a big mistake.

Having this meeting offered it would in my eyes seem to make perfect sense to meet with the chairman.  To refuse to meet would surely leave the board saying that they have tried to meet to discuss but the group refused.  I understand the sentiments but refusal to meet seems a poor option.

The third line of the statement makes the meeting pointless in my eyes mate. It says I'm not going anywhere but by all means come and meet me.

Again I stress it's not personal but if anyone did attend a meeting I cant see them coming out saying "we've had a chat and we now see that change isn't needed after all". I really can't.
Agreed, I think the offer of a constructive meeting is too little too late. Far more than 29 people want change and the Club needs change to rebuild. The only solution I can see is that Rowley will eventually have to fall on his sword. How and when he can decide, but this can't continue into the Summer and the start of next season.

I think Jim Harvey was treated very badly our Chairman, he arrived and inherited a complete shambles, got rid of players that weren't good enough and tried to get his own players in. He was then sacked in a swift movement with Rowley claiming that performances weren't good enough for Alty Fc and that we would fight to keep our place in the league. He then said we would search to find the best person to be our manager, only to give it to Matt Doughty, a man that had a hand in Tolson's disastrous reign and also worked with Harvey. Doughty's first interview was to slag off Harvey and distance himself from any wrongdoings and his record has been similarly poor. Doughty isn't fit to lace Jim Harvey's boots. The sooner Rowley and Doughty are both replaced in the respective positions the better.

The board in reality is made of 2 people Grahame Rowley and Bill Waterson. Bill has only been a member for a month and no blame can be placed at his door which leaves only Rowley. With due respect to messers Faulkner and Wilshaw, I couldn't seem them disagreeing with the Chairman on anything. I assume thats why Shaw and Daine got frustrated and stood down.

It's more than 29 tho. If he wants to be open and transparent he should hold an open meeting

The fact that Heathcote was given free reign to say what he wanted for as long as he wanted made a mockery of Ian Watmore's ground rules and also sickening how he begged for Doughty and by association himself to given the managers role.

Everyone is assuming that Bill is anti-Rowley, which is highly unlikely. Yes he spoke well at the Review meeting but that's a far cry from mounting a one man crusade. I don't think we should expect too much from him, however I wait to be surprised.

Incidentally Sturgeon will get her way eventually, Scotland will have a referendum within 2 years and they will leave the UK. It's only a matter of time before your mate has to leave the Board, to ensure the Club doesn't sink even further.

So you think the majority are happy with the current state of the Club, are you?

We've got 4 executive directors, 1 is Rowley and at least 2 others are his mates - I don't know about Bill. However even if Bill wanted change its still 3 v 1. The Board are not going to persuade Rowley to go.

Truth hurts Thriving, keep acting like child who hasn't got what he wants.

Facts are that less than 25 people walked out.

The silent majority of which I have been for 18 years don't support you lot on this, you need to accept this and move on.

I think you'll find I didn't walk out nor did I support it beforehand. The Chairman will know exactly how many walked out, as he had someone counting but I can assure you there were supporters clapping in the Golf Road End. Those are the facts.

Absolute rubbish, the Popular Side and Golf Road End applauded. Don't distort the facts to suit your own argument. You sound like a member of the Board.
