Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Stafford really are

That did cross my mind but I thought I should button it as I wasn't there. People don't like people commenting on games they were not at.

poor.

If they continue this season in the way they are playing tonight (I was not at Marston Rd) then that's one place of the bottom we can achieve.

Halifax could be another candidate too!!

Last season we lost to Exeter at home, and lost to Halifax at the Shay.

Compare and contrast......

Terrible match, on a par with the Aberdeen v Hearts match.

I thought Grays looked like they must have sorted themselves out after last year. That said, Justin Edinburgh is an ugly useless piece of sh*te. I'm surprised he has time to manage a football team AND suck Razor Ruddicks bits.

no offence to ideas 4 alty but i blame him with non of the manchester big 2 at home we were always likely to attract a few glory hunters a the game. there was to much hype leqading upto the game with basically saying that this game was a game we were likely to win exeter are a fantastic side yes and they showed that.but when itīs just first game the players donīt need that pressure. if ur so good a coming with ideas the tell me why donīt you come up with a bright idea like getting supporters down to keep the ground tidy and ready 4 a matchday i didnīt see him down at any of the arrranged weekends enough said we play two teams that we need to beet in the nxt two games so lets foget the 1 game a season nobs

That post should be saved as one of the biggest load of absolute bollocks ever posted on this forum.  Did you make that up off the top of your head?

And you can understand it, to analyse it as bollocks? You deserve a medal, I'm still scratchng my head.

I have it on very good authority (don't you just love that phrase) that Bromley who have just been promoted to the Conference South are paying their striker, Danny Hockton Ģ750 per week.

He also gets a Ģ50 goal bonus, he netted 40 odd for Margate last season!

I used to think the Conference North was harder than the Conference South to get out of, now I'm not so sure if that is the sort of cash that is floating around  ::)

On my drunken journey home last night from Liverpool Street to Cheshunt I thought it would be funny to say to this guy that he must be an Arsenal fan (we were in Tottenham territory).

Anyway he was a Tottenham fan so naturally the conversation turned to Alty. This guy had been at our first match with them and he said he remembered that he wasn't all too surprised at the result as Tottenham were on a terrible run including a 5 love humping against Arsenal.

He did however say he remembered that we had a player called Heathcote! Graham must have made some impression Norf of the river!

GRAHAM, GRAHAM HEATHCOTE, HE'S THE GREATEST MAN IN HISTORY!!

Altrincham FC First Team / Stinson prediction....
« on: July 21, 2007, 12:27:13 PM »
I work with the assistant manager of Ware FC and they have just played Stevenage. They lost 2-1 in the 90th minute however it was interesting to hear that Stinson told Barry that Stevenage would win the league this year and in a reasonably easy fashion by all accounts!

Is there something about the hot seat at Broadhall Way...........

Competitive fixture eh? I thought it was league play we were discussing last night?

Is Exeter not further south than Weymouth?

Dover is way east of Maidstone.

I have to agree with that one, but have to say I think it was a about the 83rd min  ::)
