Not sure what the problem is here? We got to stand in that final third of the pop side in the first half when we needed it. Second half it is completely vacant. Given the biblical weather and the facilities we have empty and available, why wouldnít we let them use it?

So just for the record, you want the round fully segregated after BPA, but your happy to have four poeple act as a segregation wall for a load of county fans.

They had been given a roof for protection from the elements. If we are going to give them the pop side it should be a decision to do so pre match not because we've allowed our three stewards to be put in a dangerous situation. Took our main safety office above a good five minutes to go over and our chief office a further five to run round. Nigel was quicker to ask us to remove a Macc flag.

I witnessed our stewards bullied into giving them that area of the terrace by climbing over the wall and shouting about taking the terrace.

We've now fans on their forum talking about just using the home end going forward. Granted very little might happen. But you could have said BPA and Coalville wouldn't hapoen.

Away fans should not be in the same home bar. We've a giant wall we can put up if absolutely necessary.

For the record, we will never know if Hulme had been given a reprieve of a yellow without county fans in that family stand balling the ref for a red.

This is the last Iíll say on it because itís pointless.

You know full well what my stance on segregation is. I donít want away fans on the Golf Road End in their droves and I donít like it when our fans spread out onto the away end. Neither happened so my boxes have been ticked.

Iím not talking about away fans directly using the home end facilities. There are certainly problems to be addressed there.

We got access to the area we wanted in the first half, we moved back to the other end of the ground - the area then became unused and sodden, freezing County fans were allowed to take shelter. Again, not sure what the issue is with that?

Weíd have created a more hostile situation for our voluntary stewards had we kept it shut to County fans.

Writing was probably on the wall given the chops and changes but I thought we gave it a decent go second half with ten men, and with a bit of luck would have forced a replay.

Losing Jord is my only real negative takeaway from today - especially if it was something as reckless and silly as stamping on one of their lads post-tackle which is what has been reported by Stockport fans near the action. What do we do now, Hancock as a striker?

Comments re. the ladsí Dublin Christmas do are absolutely ludicrous. Get a grip, weíre a semi professional club and the players have earned 24 hours downtime.

From John Laidlar's award winning site;

BUCKS' VIEW
The Shropshire Star reports that "Gavin Cowan believes his AFC Telford United side were the instigators of their own downfall after slipping to a 3-1 defeat at Altrincham.
The Robins, who had won their last five in all competitions, took an 18th minute lead after John Johnston skipped past two tackles, before finding former Buck, Josh Hancock, who slotted home. Hancock sealed the win with a goal late on, after Connor Hampson's super curling free kick had got the hosts in front 16 minutes from time.

The Bucks chief believes his side had control of the game for large parts, but errors cost his team on a wet afternoon at the J Davidson Stadium. He said, 'They were difficult conditions but they were the same for both sides so there is no argument there. I think we had a couple of chances in the first half we didn't put away, but I felt we controlled the game in parts.

'We were comfortable in open play and we nullified them for the most part, but we were the instigators of our own downfall, and that is not really us. We are quite a reliable team, individually and as a team. I was frustrated because we work hard through the week on specific things, and rely on the lads going over the white line.

'We did that in the first 18 minutes and controlled the game and, then, four players have gone jumping and sliding into tackles and that is uncharacteristic.'

Daniel Udoh drew his side level after 25 minutes of the game, but apart from that the Bucks never forced goalkeeper Tony Thompson into a save.

Cowan introduced Brendon Daniels and Yusifu Ceesau from the bench late on in a bid to grab an equaliser, but the Bucks got overrun and Hancock sealed the win with his second.

The manager took the blame for the third goal, and said 'In the second half we took control again and, as staff, we were talking about when we should go for the jugular. We tried to stay in the game as long as we could, and the third goal was my fault really because I have gone gung-ho. I felt we were in control of the game for parts, but we were not threatening in our attacking phases.

Think it's a pretty fair assessment of the game from their perspective, to be honest.

Yeah, Iíve noticed a few tweets but had no info from the club. Iíd imagine weíve sent them tickets to get a gauge of how many are likely to attend, helps us to prepare.

Parkinsonís red and white army.

My message to stay always is the same as it always has been - by all means donít come to home games if thatís your stance, but please get yourselves to upcoming away games and get behind these lads.

After making a good appointment at the fourth time of asking, weíve got a genuine chance of achieving back to back promotions. Not a single one of us thought that was possible in the summer of 2017.

I'm not having a dig at the ground staff but, this arrangement with MUFC seems to only benefit them.
Due to them playing on it midweek scuppered the opportunity for us to cover the surface.

I have nothing but admiration for the generous folk who donated to purchase the said covers, I'm just a bit surprised that a club of the size of MUFC didn't give us them at a vastly reduced rate (perhaps they did).

It is my understanding that we did get the covers at a heavily discounted price, albeit MUFC had no involvement. All donations.

Liam Goulding moves back out on loan, this time to Ashton United.

Another piece of transfer news should be on the way some time this evening, I must say I'm impressed by this one.

Is this the first time we'll have played two teams four times in one season?

Would be incredibly harsh on LG if true, Snork.

Doesn't look like he spat to me. That bloke didn't do anything that various Alty fans didn't do at full time of the Shaw Lane away game. We're also the worst club in Britain for hurling obscenities at the match officials. Perhaps take a look at ourselves a bit first.
