An article on the club's latest fundraising initiative is now on the official website.

If Alty TV wish to charge us for watching the game live, should BT not be filming the match, I would more than willingly pay Alty TV and RR to provide the coverage.
Hi Steve. BT Sports own the broadcast rights to the National League so basically they get first dibs. Having then paid the additional fee for individual matches they arent likely to allow someone else to muscle in, broadcast separately and eat into their return on investment unfortunately. The gantry is another issue re personnel from different bodies social distancing in a very tight space.

My worry is BT will hold onto these rights and make out as though they're going to broadcast right until the last second and then pull out.

I'm taking no news as good news to be honest.

What got me thinking was the opportunity to bring in much bigger players that have already been released elsewhere - just for the playoffs...

I guess there's something to be said for squad cohesion, but if someone like Duncan rocked up to Moss Lane with his boots on  Shocked

I think this is the key thing.

We haven't had anyone poached when we probably could have by now.

Lots of clubs could be in a very different position come September or October. The more continuity we can keep, the better placed we will be.

Loved JJ but in Mooney, Mahon and potentially a returning Durrell we are more than equipped for next season. Forwards, never backwards.

Shameful.

Strong statement that, Bill. Good on you all for continuing to fight the case for the fairest solution to this mess of a situation. For weeks we've been waiting, ready to go. This is so poor.

I heard it would have taken 150k ish for testing over ten games or so  to complete the season . That's 15k  per game roughly .Presume it would cost nln clubs the same

Less than that, but still a hefty bill, I believe.

From coaching right through to the operation staff inside the ground on a match day, we have less staff to test. There are also less contact 'events' to test for, in comparison with full time football clubs who train and travel to hotels, etc.

So I don't think we'd be looking at those sorts of members but it certainly ain't cheap.

Hi mate, I gave our Sports Therapist, Tommy Uda a shout for you. He said:

Quote
Minimum is an Honours Degree in either Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation. Clubs at NLN & NLS however dont actually have to have any Medical personnel present at a game, only when you reach the National League Prem that teams must have appropriate Medical professionals in place.

Hope that helps.

It is such a shame that it is just another group of Middle-earth, white males.

All change when Sauron launches his takeover bid.

13  General Category / Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Altrincham FC-inspired Face masks - Christie's fundraiser. on: May 29, 2020, 04:45:43 PM
Today we've placed our order for the masks orders plus an additional number extra. There will be no more once this stock has gone so please do order soon to guarantee a mask. Availability is limited per colour.

Thank you to those that have supported us and Christie's.

Looking forward to receiving mine. Any ideas on timescales roughly? Smiley

They're in production cycle now. We've been provisionally told they'll be dispatched to us at the end of next week, so looking mind-end of the second week of June for us to have them.

Then we'll get them straight out.
