Altrincham FC First Team / Programme?
« on: November 10, 2014, 05:33:12 PM »
Long shot I know but did anybody get a programme on Sunday that they don't intend to keep/collect?
I had a mate there who goes to hundreds of different games at different levels every year and he always gets a programme but couldn't get one on Sunday.
Thanks in advance

Oxford boss Chris Wilder is desperate for United to win promotion, labelling the Conference a "poxy league".

United would have secured a play-off place this season had they not been docked five points in January for fielding an unregistered player.

"Boy, do I want to get out of this league," Wilder told BBC Oxford after his side lost 2-1 to Northwich.

"We need to take it out of people's hands by producing a winning team and get out of this poxy league."

Sunday's home defeat - watched by over 10,000 fans - was a disappointing end to the season for the U's.

But Wilder is determined that next term will be a successful one for the former top-flight club, who were relegated from the League in 2006.

He said: "I think everyone at this football club wants to get out of this league and never come back."

Altrincham FC First Team / itv football coverage
« on: February 04, 2009, 11:24:49 PM »
what a farce

was it just london where they cut to adverts 2 minutes from the end of extra time, so i was watching giant tictacs playing golf when everton scored?

really itv coverage is beyond a joke - their choice of games, the cameras, commentators, abide with me, all of it.
i hate them

Altrincham FC First Team / weymouth

i have just spent the last 20 minutes trying to make head or tail of the labyrinth that is the take over of weymouth
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/weymouth/7858880.stm
http://www.terras-talk.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5694

it seems the takeover is by the people who own the stadium at peterboro and at rushden, are on the board at rushden, and are serial offenders, however if this doesnt happen weymouth are likely to fold
if anyone would like to walk me through the maze i would be grateful
