Crawley, Rushden, Vics and Torquay because they will all go bust reprieving us when we finish bottom of the league with 8 points Grin

Will everyone who dropped litter on Wednesday night be identified and traced and then fined 80 for dropping litter.

The Goats away on Boxing Day. There is less distance to walk  there is no trains on boxing day. Provided I can't get a lift.

I'm not really looking forward to being in the Conference next season(subject to confirmation). But sometimes it's the parties you don't want to go to but you have to go, tend to be the best parties to be at.

arghhh thanks guys nice to see your happy for us  Grin we have been called big time chalie's with loads of money all season and a week after screwing up promotion we are going bust hmmm confused ,as for money problems no doubt torquay will cut costs for next  season, but as the chairman has pointed out ,we had an fa cup match screened by the bbc +plus the run to the trophy final that has already netted 64,000 with gate and sky tv money still to come and our ave attendance 1000 over what was predicted torquays income for this was massively over what was budgeted for,so whilst i agree we can not spend money again like this season dont get your hope,s up for us going bust just yet ,oh pleased to see you have managed to avoid relegation for the third season in a row thanks to another clubs downfall must be well proud who will save next seaon i wonder Shocked

Who knows?  Maybe it could be yourselves!?

Is Colin Lee going to throw his toys out of his pram cos the mighty gulls could only manage a point against the minnows of Alty?

morelikley cambridge if they fail to go up its them and not us who are shipping money at a great rate,as for c.lee he is a decent bloke in truth, and the proof of what iam saying is that we lost to farsley,no problems with them either club or fans, strange that and their smaller than your club, like i say this problem alty have with torquay is self made
It seems to me that Torquay treated Leeds Celtic with more respect than they did with Alty. It's a shame only 2,300 people from Torquay could be persuaded to watch the mighty Alty! Also I'm sure Miss Chamberlain is not another glory hunting celebrity supporter who only turns out for the big games, unlike Frank Sidebottom and Angus Loghran. Finally with Torquay cutting their cloth does mean they will be getting their own stewards and paying for stewards from Plymouth?

For what was perhaps the only time tonight I was in the perfect position to adjudicate and sadly from your perspective it was nowhere near even on the line, never mind over it

I second that decision. I'm normally dodgy on goal-line decisions. But I'm 100% sure I got that right.

Personally I would like to see a season when everything is sorted before the AGM. Almost every season there seems to be a problem about clubs in the league. It wasn't too long ago when no-one got relegated because the teams that won the feeder leagues were denied promotion. I think it was the season that Hucknall won the Unibond. Is there going to be a season when we win the Conference by default because all the other clubs have gone broke? Huh

...and then again.
I'll save my good lucks for next week until afterTuesday, we may still need a favour from Weymouth.

I've booked this Saturday off, booked on the coach. It's another night on Piccadilly station for me. I will be there( unless I become extinct)
1166  General Category / Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Shotton Up Front on Saturday? on: April 15, 2008, 05:31:12 PM
Plus he is not going to be 40-1 to score first anymore.
1167  General Category / Altrincham FC First Team / Burton v Alty on: April 08, 2008, 12:01:13 PM
Ryan Shotton 40-1 to score 1st at Burton. I think that is worth a bet. Especially if he plays up front.

Whatever happens nothing is set in stone until the A.G.M.

They may lose Darryn Stamp back to Halifax according to John Laidlars site (injuries to Campbell and SHaw at Fax).

Yes. That and the fact they want the wheels to come off at Vics to improve their own chances of staying up!  Roll Eyes

Yeh, er they can't recall Young and Toulson can they?

Also, would you pay Stamp 800 between now and the end of the season to play for Alty? Anyone?
Yes I would just pay Stamp 800  to the end of the season. But if you mean 800 a week til the end of the season, then no I wouldn't.

I'm surprised Halifax and the Vics can afford Stamp's wages when he was rumoured to be earning 1600 a week when he was Stevenage.
