Thanks Jack.
Straight answers to simple questions. No need for them to be turned into an argument on this forum.

If you are asking these questions, please can you add:

How much has the CSH project cost the Club this season?
How much has the CSH project benefited the Club this season? How can we ensure we maximise revenue available from the CSH to the benefit of the playing budget?
How much has running the Reserve team cost the Club? Does it represent good value?
Disappointing results – any idea what is this years average attendance, and how it compares with recent seasons?

Thanks

How much does running a Ladies team cost the club?

How generous - their last match was free entry.
There home gates are very misleading as they include about 800 season ticket holders - most of whom do not attend regularly.

There is not a single reason they are numerous

1. Poor recruitment bar deasy and rankine .. home work was not done
2. Very unlucky with injuries
3. A manager who lost interest and the dressing room
4. We took the easy decision and paid the price

You forgot to add the bad refs ;)

I cannot make out if the referee blew his whistle before or after the incident.
It appears that the Dover player dived into Holness.
It doesn't look like the referee saw the incident as he didn't act, and the assistant seems to react as if the game is over.
As I said before - we will have to see what is in the referee's report. From Alty TV I would think we would appeal.

Does the ref also have the option to send off at a later time?

Ie - did he think that with all us lot there and a bit of handbags going on, the best way was to get the players off the pitch before dishing out the punishment?

I mean all we'd have done is heckle but he may have viewed it as a flashpoint.

If the red card is for foul play the referee is not permitted to restart the match before the card is shown. It is not a foul if the match has ended.
The referee has the power to caution from the moment he enters the field of play, until the moment he leaves the field of play - Law 12.
If the situation has been brought to the referees attention by one of his assistants/4th official after the match has ended, and the player has left the field after the end of the match and the referee feels it is not safe to take action, he would not issue a red card but record the incident in his report for the appropriate FA to take action. I am a qualified referee and as I understand the rules, players have to be notified of cards. A player can dispute any caution when he has not been notified by the referee.

Until the referees report is known, you are all making assumptions/speculations.

A player can be sent off even if he has already left the field of play or not even entered it. Still the referee would only send a player off, if he had seen the incident himself or on the advice of one of his assistants/Fourth Official.

It reminds me of a local incident down here when the ref turned up and the conversation with one of the players in the changing room before the game went:-
Player - "Not you again. You're the useless b***** who F*** up giving a penalty against me last week"
Ref - "Well you wont have to worry about that this week because you are not playing"
Player - "Yes I am"
Ref - "No you are not, because I am sending off"
Player "You cant do that"
Ref - "Yes I can and I have done - for foul and abusive language to an official"

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Alty youth 'firm'
« on: March 30, 2016, 11:06:20 AM »
These young kids are the future of Alty and their support. We should be thankful that they are turning up to the games. Every club has kids like these on a lot worse scale. Think we need to concentrate on trying to stay in this league rather than a pointless topic. Got bigger worries than a few kids messing about at games!
Spot on. There are more important Alty things to worry about at the present time than recent issues such as youthful exuberance or scousers getting wet.

Neil took the Caretaker job because we didn't have a manager, it would have been easy for him to go as well. So he stays and gets criticised for doing so. In hindsight maybe the club should have made it clear that Lee left of his own accord instead of saying 'parted company' - just to appease some of the knob eds that come on this forum. Neil is doing the best he can with what he has got, so are the rest of the management. We all knew we needed 6 quality players at the beginning of last season but we didn't or more likely couldn't get them.
We know we need a fit Michael Rankine, Johnny King in midfield or a genuine fan to win the Lotto. In the meantime lets get behind the manager, players and club instead of pouring petrol on the relegation fire.

Neil Tolson didn't take the job out of charity for the club, he took it because he wanted it and because it was the next step in his coaching career. He was also offered it by his mate. As has been said before there would have been other people that could have stepped in if he had left.
I don't think the relegation fire needs any petrol, I think the manager and players are doing that for themselves.
Enlighten me, who was available, willing and in a better position than Neil to take the Manager's job immediately Lee decided to leave?

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Best home crowds since the early 80s
« on: March 29, 2016, 09:38:17 AM »
We can't throw this away, apart from the second half of the 1990/91 season, our crowds are at their highest since the early 80s. We are running out of must win games. Next week really is that. We cannot afford to lose the next generation of fans by dropping down to play sh*t like Lowestoft and Brackley again. Get it sorted, I'm beyond getting cross, this is about the clubs future foundation.

WOW. Now that is something to look at and build on. Why have we got the extra fans when as a team we are struggling? The Aldershot game was the same. Let's look on what we can do to fuel this.
