Neil took the Caretaker job because we didn't have a manager, it would have been easy for him to go as well. So he stays and gets criticised for doing so. In hindsight maybe the club should have made it clear that Lee left of his own accord instead of saying 'parted company' - just to appease some of the knob eds that come on this forum. Neil is doing the best he can with what he has got, so are the rest of the management. We all knew we needed 6 quality players at the beginning of last season but we didn't or more likely couldn't get them.
We know we need a fit Michael Rankine, Johnny King in midfield or a genuine fan to win the Lotto. In the meantime lets get behind the manager, players and club instead of pouring petrol on the relegation fire.

I think some idiot has been listening to the stories of the 1970's without realising that society has moved on.

How do you expect people to react after seeing the same mistakes week in week out? And the same dross performances. This is a football forum and people are entitled to voice their concerns whether positive or negative. It is extremely frustrating when the fans can see exactly what is going wrong and what is needed to put it right but the management and directors seem to turn a blind eye to this?
There is a difference between being offensive, antagonistic and destructive compared to positive criticism. If it carries on the way some insult fellow fans, we wont have a club. The solution to try and get the club back in the right direction is for all genuine fans to be helpful rather than destructive. B.4D has done/is doing his bit so have I.

Totally agree. We missed a golden opportunity of 3 points on Saturday but today and next Saturday offer 2 more chance. Lets get behind the team with encouragement.

Even if we agree tactics were wrong - we still got chances and didn't take them. They had one chance and they took it. Result = we threw 3 points away.

I am not so sure that these locals were even at the game. None were wearing club colours.

Some Shots fans travelled up on the same train as us and were amongst about a dozen who were arguing with some of our local idiots who were also throwing stones across the railway line at Altrincham station on the way back. For this reason we usually board the train at Hale. However for the second time in a few weeks the Police were called to Altrincham Railway Station after an Alty match. This gang of Shots fans got very drunk on the train on the way back. One was already so drunk he couldn't operate the toilet door from the inside and I had to kick it open for him (no damage done). Then the train didn't connect at Stockport. As the train got closer to Euston, the louder and drunker they got and annoyed the Police at Euston. Myself and my kids sat in a set of 4 seats with a Shots fan travelling alone who was in his 30's, very pleasant but only claimed to "know of" these lads. It was only as we approached Euston I asked this Shots fan what he did for a living and he replied "Policeman"!!!! He said he thought the lads knew what he did, but he doesn't go to matches to babysit them!

So you can see the fun we have travelling from the South!!!!!!

I thought he took his goal magnificently today

Struck it brilliantly.............they go in the net or end up in the King George car park

Is 'not playing when your Dad's watching',  having an impact ?...........my lad always seemed to play better when I wasn't there........or so everyone told me  ;D

I think someone was telling you something. ;)

Marcus has been great and I would like to see him stay. However he might not want to go part time.
I thought he great yesterday.

I think survival hopes depend on winning on Saturday and at Fax the following Saturday as we definitely need a platform for hope of getting the 5 wins needed.

Lazy player

On his day, a very useful striker and it would not surprise me if he did well at FCUM. I hope we are not playing them next season as there surprising win at Solihull on Tuesday looks like it may keep them from relegation this season.

While I agree with this statement, the critics are way outnumbered by those of us who posted positive comments on this forum.

No, he can't. He always goes for the cheap and cheerful, very much to the detriment of the club. >:(

Absolute rubbish. Grahame, or anyone else for that matter, cannot be expected to do something that is not within his means. Everyone knows he tries his best and has the best interests of the club at heart.

Looks like we will have to win our home games against Aldershot and Welling and also our 3 away games against teams in the bottom 5.
We cant afford any more slip ups like at Welling.

Thanks Lee. The Guiseley play-off was something special. And Barnsley in the FA Cup brought back memories. Will be remembered as a top bloke.
