Not feeling optimistic about this (or Tuesday). Tossing off the Trophy has had a real impact on momentum. Would be pleased with a draw but suspect a defeat.

Call me weird, but I'm driving there.

Same here. Anyone know what the parking's like?
The ground's hemmed in by housing on all sides so it's all on-street parking (from memory). I parked about 5 mins walk away in 2016/17 but you'd expect a much bigger crowd this time round.

Club deserve all the plaudits for overseeing our largest league gate since about 1980 odd, it went seamlessly.
I was going to mention Barnet in 1991 but then I remembered that the gate that day was bang on 3000.

Do it Globby, you don't need an invite.

Here's a twist on the theme - if we beat BPA in Feb, will it be the first time we've beaten a team four times in one season?
So long as you're not there we've got a chance.

Good, upcoming managers seem to have the knack of moving on at exactly the right time for them, usually when they deem that they have taken the club as far as they can.  That way their CV is always healthy. Danny Cowley was obviously not going to go any further with a club like Braintree (and so it has proved) and is now doing the same at Lincoln. Watch him get them promoted this year and then move up to a Championship club.  Yes PP and Neil will move on, but when it is right for them and nothing we can do  in terms of contract extensions will affect that, I suspect.
Interesting that we're discussing the prospect of our management team moving on to better things. When did that last happen (not counting the views of Matt Doughty's wife) ?

Had to laugh at the bloke in the red coat who seemed very upset by the second goal.
Chester fans seem obsessed by how many Alty fans were there - there was a thread about it on their forum and they keep popping up in various Facebook groups too. If you lose the game then why not claim a moral victory by claiming that 'they hardly brought any'.

We could still be playing now and I doubt we'd have scored.

Great highlights as always. I particularly enjoyed the edit of the build-up to several of the goals, showing how long we'd retained possession before scoring.
This is how we play in every game when you're not there!

Can't do Hereford, as it's my annual jaunt to the Times Crossword Championship. A ground I've never crossed off too, but maybe there'll be another chance.
Thankfully there have been no awful puns about playing 4 across the middle or being 2 down at half time etc.

Great support from the robins
Must say the Stockport steward set up was shambolic- did they expect Bracknell or something turning up?

Pretty sure they were monitoring the number of arriving fans and as soon as was necessary moved the netting along. Why they have home fans in that stand at all beats me when the Cheadle end is a quarter full.
Compare and contrast with the way that we allow away teams free reign of Moss Lane.

Is anyone else annoyed by the time it takes to get a drink of any description at half time? Canít we pay some more people
To work behind the bar?
Absolutely - I hardly bother any longer as it's so bad (so I don't get to comment on how bad the Foster's is).

Our website is showing that the match against Congleton is due to be played w/c 1.10.18.  Thereís nothing on the CSC site as far as I can tell but I did see the fixture date given as 6.11.18 elsewhere.  It may not be a priority but Iíd still like to know when exactly itís going to be played.  Anyone on here know for sure?
Congleton website confirms 6/11/18 - not sure why it's so late.

Probably to give us time to print/sell tickets and order extra catering, stewards etc  Wink
Rubbish, it will be Sky again.
