This forum is getting really tedious with all this now. There's a time and a place. Can't you see a thread about a friendly performance and the manager's reaction shouldn't be clogged up with all this?

I've seen the "highlights" of St.Mirren's games on "Sportscene" over the last three years or so. I think I understand why he stays away 

St Mirren are my local and I watch them live maybe once a month (plus all their highlights for my job, pity me). They do have one of the most boring attritional styles of play known to man. Think Alty away at Luton 2010/11 opener every week.

He was on loan from Dallas Tornado! In fact, we had two goalkeepers on loan from them.

That doesn't mean they can't leave.

I'd be inclined to trust our consistently successful management team when it comes to squad building to be honest.

I kind of like it from an aesthetic sense. I'm not sure it's "Alty" but if there's a historic precedent for it, I can live with it.
