If Brodie was going to go down in a tackle the ref was hardly going to deny him a second time. Strange how the commentator was too far away to see the second one but not the first one. Is he commentating from the toilets at the away end?

Be fair. You're only assuming he dived.

Even the commentators seem to be on this wavelength - and they were c0cks

The lad's kniown for diving and we witnessed it at ML. The commentators as good as said that he did. I wasn't there but I bet you he did.

What mustn't be overlooked here is that Altrincham barely have eleven fit players and full-time York only just beat them.

This was one of the fixtures at the start of the season where you may possibly put down as a loss,
Just a pity the lads couldnt hang on, but no disgrace losing to an extra time pen against a top 5 club...

Oxford next Saturday.. Hope they bring coach loads and fill the coffers..

According to a reliable source at the match Brodie was looking for a penalty but Young did catch him so not too many complaints. He also said there weren't any Alty fans involved in the fracas at the end.

In the interests of fairness how many free kicks has Chris Denham 'manufactured' for us this season....maybe not penalties but that's down to geography rather than anything else.

Also, if we did have a player who 'won' us a good number of penalties would we be so indignant? I doubt it

I have just got back, there were no Alty fans involved in the fracas, it was a mixture of both sets of players, GH and their stewards, couldn't really see properly from the away end.

Also Brodie probably was looking for it, however Youngy committed himself and made contact, i'm afraid it was a penalty.

The lads did well today and we made York look very average, we deserved a point.
