Gutted. Saw him play for Crewe and Alty. Top bloke, bitter sweet to see him moving on - kind of bloke you can't help but wish success.

Can't see him cheering on his lads in red though!

Thanks a lot for all you've given for Alty.  The loyalty and dedication you've shown (along with providing that touch of quality up front) have been a great example to any aspiring footballer.  A true legend.  All the best for the future and hope to see you back at Moss Lane soon!

First, congratulations on what sounds like a fantastic gig Colin.  And thanks for all those great moments in an Alty shirt.  You'll always be able to look back at your Alty career with huge satisfaction.  Favourite moment:  the overhead kick against Harrogate, September 2004.  Thank you Colin!

Colin

What can I say mate. I have so enjoyed watching you over the last 6 years with my kids. You are and always will be a legend at this club. I liked the way you had your life mapped out, particularly the bit about going semi-pro with Alty when you left full time soccer. I really wish you all the best in your future career at MUFC, I know the kids who will be your charges will benefit from your vast experience as a player. I remember speaking to Brian Fletcher from T and D of when he was a manager at Stamford Juniors and he recalled with horror when you put 5 past his team as a young lad in Junior Football! Brian still shudders at the memory!

Seriously, thanks for telling us well in advance so we can plan accordingly for your farewell and remember, you will always be welcome at Alty FC, fans, players and management alike so make sure you stay in touch.

Add a couple more for the DVD mate, and remember you can only be good if you come from round our way.

Steve the Macarena dancer from Sale!!

A club lower down the pyramid is going to gain a quality player this summer, there's plenty of goals left in Colin Little yet! Good luck at Utd and wherever you end up next season Col and thanks for everything you've done for Alty.

Colin will be sorely missed, a quality player and great servant to the club. I wish you all the best at Old Trafford.

Just heard the news. Just want to say a big 'thank you' to you Colin for helping me believe in my club again at a time when my faith was wobbling. Good luck to you in all you do in the future mate.

Anyone else think it's a worthy idea for a whip round to buy some sort of "thank you" present from the fans???

I for one would be happy to contribute, and I think it would be fitting that Colin had something to look back on to remember how much he was appreciated at ML.

Just a thought....

Thanks Colin for the memories and showing such a great example.

I agree some sort of thank you can should be done. It would be very nice for us fans to show our appreciation.  Whoever is going to coordinate it can catch me for a contribution on Saturday at Luton.
