T'other side o pennines just after t'world cup final.............came across hidden in the back of a van on a fake visa in 1986.

Lived opposite Maine Road until 92 but worked in Altrincham 89 - 91.
Southport 93
Sale 94 to 98
Timperley 98 to 2008.....................(claim to fame - same street as Hughesy)
Broadheath 2008 onwards

Mick,

I can't believe that many of the other residents of Stamford Brook would ever describe themselves as living in Broadheath...!

You're probably correct .................but that's because they are from this side of the pennines ! ;)

How very rude!

And even Reddish thought twice! There was a residents petition to force him down Reddish Lane to Gorton I believe

Born Moss Side, grew up Irlam now living in Wrexham and I thought Moss Side was rough. Always played footy saturdays and was 35 before I discovered lure of Moss Lane on a permanent basis. Everton at Old Trafford 74-5 my first memory what a night ! apart from Mr Latchford.

Born at Trafford General, lived in Stretford all my life. My Dad was born in his parents house on Manor Road, which is where the Alty connection came from.
