Not to put a downer on proceedings, but he just didn't look great tonight, if he is injured and having to play then fair play, but he looked absolutely knackered after 15 minutes, densmore and denham had to do twice the work to cover him, if he wasn't injured he seriously needs to work on his fitness.
Technically i think he looks decent, but your not gonna be able to do anything well if your knackered.

The amount of ground he covered early on, he was entitled to be tired. Don't forget it's only a month since he was playing at Warrington ! The man I thought looked short on fitness when he came on was Holsgrove.

I thought Jimmy had some good spells, great ball for Denham first half, I just think he needs a couple more games to get up to full fitness. His attitude is excellent.

I agree 100% - He covered a lot of ground trying to close defenders down.

The whole team put up a fine battling performance and you couldn't fault anyone for effort and committment.

Jimmy did well last night.

Holsgrove for me didnt do anything and certainly did not do much running, his heart appeared elsewhere and he was no where near as committed and the rest of the team without exception.

However he did get in a good position after about 30seconds of being on the pitch and he went in for a challenge by the 6 yard line. He could have injured himself in that and if so then fair play to him for carrying on.

I guess only Holsgrove will know.

Give him a chance.............he came on and did a job.......he held up the long ball and occupied the Barrow defence long enough to wind the clock down. He gave them something to think about and almost scored too.
Time will tell if he is good enough, but don't write him off on 8 minutes of play

Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

The only job he did was to be unable to hold the ball and stay on his feet, I also base this on his performance against Southport

But I take your point on board!!
