"Fanfare" sponsorship
« on: October 20, 2010, 08:32:53 PM »

Following on from a suggestion made on this forum the other day and also an email received via the "Ideas 4 Alty" website today, I (on behalf of TASC) would like to gauge the level of interest in doing this for each home game.

Would anyone who is interested in possibly sponsoring "fanfare for the common man" be kind enough to post a reply below. Please also indicate how much you would be willing to pay for the privilege.

Thanks in advance.

Serious question Does anyone know how much it would cost to upgrade the tannoy system or what is needed?
Maybe try and raise some money for it.
It would be great if we could fanfare start playing just before the teams come out.

I'm way ahead of you Darren.  ;)

This is exactly what I had in mind and it's being raised at tomorrow night's TASC meeting.

£5 - £10
Most of the interest is likely to be from the supporters who prob already put a lot into the club's coffers, but it could be a good way for the exiles to do this.
Maybe get a wee note in the programme too.

Not sure if I have got this right, but may I suggest that the sponsor money for the "Fanfare" is then put towards gettting new sound equipment?

Or was that the intention anyway?

That's a great idea Jenga.

I'd happily pay a tenner too, so I think we can probably run with this at £10.

No need to be sarcastic Ballers, but if I or another peson is going to give money then it should be clear as to what the money is to be used for.

The initial intention is to pay for replacement equipment for the stadium PA system. Once that has been paid for, I would imagine the money will be used for another, as yet unknown, purpose (suggestions are always welcome).

Can I put you down for one Jenga?   ;)
