Depends if its Yorks fault or Donaldsons. This might have been agreed for a while and therefore any offers would have been declined by him anyway as I'm sure Hibs will be offering him a good contract.

Donaldson has not helped out York city in the slightest and now York will get nothing for one of their major players. Makes you appreciate what a good job we did getting 50% on Craney.
