Back onto the important issues if I may.

We got to the ground only to find out that the snack bar had no hot food ready and I was told it would be 30 mins before it was ready.

Went through the gates to the home support snack bar to be served by some 60 a day woman who's hands had so much nicotene on them they looked like she had had her hands in  pot of yellow paint.

The burgers tasted of, well nothing actually and the water from the onions I am sure was poured over my roll as it was all soggy.

What was worse was that the chip shop was closed and could not get food in the pub as it was full of scousers.

This totally ruined my day.

Seriously though I am sure they are breaking the food hygiene standards.

That reminds me, I must remember to bring a flask and a tent in preparation for next Saturday and the 3 mile long queue at the pie stand at Moss Lane.

I am sorry - but it is not my fault your all pie eating fatties  ;D

You should see it at the home end, we have to wait longer than you do, but at least the food is good, well your food is, we just get Mars Bars at our end.

Well if you'd only bring 40 fans like a proper non-league team should then you wouldn't face such problems.

Food hygiene rules; hope a certain club secretary is not aware of this, I am sure that you can lose all your points gained from games where the food hygiene standards do not meet Conference regulations

Seriously though - poor or what. Do they not realise that money can be made from hungry spectators !

Believe me, having visited the home ground of the club secretary you mention, their hygiene standards are the worst in the league.

Perhaps someone should report them?

I have spent a number of minutes in the Alty home end looking at the pie stand at the corner of the home terrace, not for the food though!

To York or to the pie stand at Southport?

You brought 175 fans to York. 132 of them had had too much to drink, 43 not enough.

There was also the fact that we couldnt get hot drinks for a while as the two lads in the cabin had prob p**sed off to watch the mickey derby.

My Steak and Kidney pie tasted of fish too ???
