seating in the family stand
« on: February 05, 2007, 08:43:22 PM »

Took my Dad to the Kiddie match, as he's not too good on his pins we sat in the main stand. We found the leg room very limited and ended up standing any way. Are the seats in the family stand any better than the main stand?  I think I've converted him and he wants to go to the york match on Sat but would prefer to sit as he's knocking on abit.

Pretty similar unless you sit on the front row.

Would suggest you get there a bit earlier and get on a row of seats in the middle of the main stand.

The row in front was removed a few year back to widen as a walkway.

Failing that use the seats directly behind the directors.  They also have more legroom.

Hope this helps.

Most of seats on front row of main stand behind directors are season ticket holders.
Family stand defo more leg room.
