Match report on the BBC website  -

"Altrincham 0-0 York
Altrincham held York to a goalless draw in a match that was short on real scoring chances.!!

The Minstermen went close early on, Michael Rankine heading over the bar, before Altrincham's Damian Reeves saw his shot held by keeper Michael Ingham.

The home side's Nicky Clee missed the target with a shot from 12 yards out.

Mark Beesley and Peter Till both went close with long-range efforts at either end as the two sides were mainly restricted to shots from distance."

Sounds like the reporter must have left early to catch his train back to London or York !!

Compare this to the interview with Gary Mills on the same website.

He considered it a MASSIVE point coming to Altrincham and getting a 0-0 draw
