Think I met him one time on a supporters coach(?), in which everyone was getting extremely irritated at his antics.

Put him in the away end.

As for Denis someone said he'd had a breakdown. Hope not.

I also heard that

If it is so then it's very sad indeed and I hope that he is soon better

I do think though, the guy should have his own standing area where he is ringfenced away from everyone else and not allowed to leave until 10 mins after kick-off

The Birch Cage? It could work...

How about installing the TISWAS Cage on The Popular Side; inserting David Birch in it and then providing Mick; Saughall Robin; distancetraveller et al with copious buckets of cold water and luminous gunge?

COMPOST CORNER!!!!!!!!! (obligatory reply)

Dennis is a surprisingly mild mannered softly spoken and gentle bloke once the game has finished and he's calmed down a bit and I wish him well.

The point is Mr Birch spends £14 a week. But how much money has the club lost due to his antics from people who dont come again.

Give him an ASBO.

A couple of seasons ago when Alty were playing Kidderminster in the rain, sleet, snow, thunder and lightning (the game that was stopped for 20 mins), David was shouting his usual nonsense, a man quietly asked him to keep his noise down as there were children around stood with their dads, David immediately punched him in the arm and called him 'a f***ing hooligan'. He tried to start a fight and said he would get the police if the bloke spoke to him like that again. He then spent a while after the re-start calling the guy a 'f***ing hooligan'. He was finally removed.

The whole thing was quite funny, but he was lucky no-one smacked him. I think for his own sake he should be banned.

But surely he qualifies for the concessions price of £8 per game (or £115 for a season ticket)?

Either way, whilst I acknowledge that the club is in need of larger attendances, we are surely not that desperate that we have to stoop to allowing such offensive individuals into Moss Lane.

Many years ago at Hayes DB was stood at the front right behind the goal spouting his usual nonsense while doing that gyratory hip swivelling motion he perfected where his legs remain fixed and his upper body rotates through 270 degrees, when someone shouted something to him. He replied at full volume " I am not a knobhead" two or three times. Everyone fell about not least the Hayes 'keeper.

If they still had the asylum at Macclesfield......................................almost forgot................Moss Rose
LOL I always think that way about Macc.
Wheni took my father to the Mansfield Game (think it was 2 years ago now we lost 2-1 at Home with the northwich lad we had on loan scoring for us in the 2nd half,it was the game we had 2 player sent off.My father and i were sat in the main stand as he was very fragile by then,Kenny sat with us chatting away.we were at the end of the front row right in the middle just by the players dugout. At the far end of the row was someone who started off,he got very nasty and it was all directed at Kenny,in the end Kenny had to move,i take it this is the person you ar on about.
