I worked on a sales team under a brilliant bloke called Peter Fletcher at Lakeland Radio in Kendal. He once asked me how many sales I had and I started counting.
He interrupted, "Have you got one sale?"
Again I started counting and again he interrupted with the same question.

His philosophy, what he was trying to get accross was, if I could get one sale I could get more as I had shown I could do it.

I know Alty have had several wins this season, but the fact they can get any one victory shows they can do it - and that is the belief the players have to have.

THEY CAN DO IT - THEY HAVE PROVEN IT.

Maybe the team just needs some blue sky flag pole waving and see who salutes...or a bit of customer service focus training?..perhaps a male bonding and team morale boost in the lake district paintballing....

Their targets are clear however, very achievable OTE of survival.

As my dickhead of a sales manager used to say when ending his motivational speeches "ciao team........"
