Nope sorry we are going down........reasons

1. We don't have a prolific scorer this season (look at Little last season)
2. Not scoring chances we have created (lately too many games where we should have drew or won Kiddy; scouseport)
3. Not killing off teams when having the chance, letting sides back in the game.
4. Conceding too many goals (not blaming the back four !! :D)
5. Not getting a run together like we did last Jan which took us up the table.
6. How many teams have we thrashed or beat easily this season ?? (only nwich  ;) ;D).
7. Strange team selections by GH this season; not using width of pitch.
8. Lack of stronge captaincy during games of latter end of this season by RL and SB ( :-\)

Finally, the team determination is not a strong as last season when either falling behind (although we create the chances) or battering the weaker teams.

Think we have too many players that are now past the best ie VO; SB; PB: CL; GT.

Sorry but think when we go down we will bounce back cos the majority of our players are better than conference north but i REALLY HOPE WE DONT GO DOWN.

PLEASE ALTY PROVE ME WRONG  ;)

or instead of
How many teams have we thrashed or beat easily this season ??
How many teams have thrashed or beaten us easily this season ?

Conceding too many goals
We have conceded 44 goals and another 5 teams have conceded the same or more than that figure

Disagree about the captaincy as well as thought Robbie Lawton is a good captain.

Sorry Gaz your wrong there !, please have a look at what a captain does ?? not sla**** Robbie off think he is the best natural vocal leader we have but picking up on the team spirit theme how many times have you seen him or any alty players getting behind the whole team and doing what a captain does ??, very recently have seen no one on the team driving the team forward to get the result or motivate the players like we need too !?!

yes agree with your twist regarding whos thrashed us ? personally only seen Daggers batter us this season

Stats again mate about the goals, still stand by concedin too many goals. Everytime go one nil down dont look like getting back in too it. Best games have been for Alty when we are 2-0 up at half time (except one game   :'()

So anyway Gaz what do you think about stayin up ??   ;D

Our inability to get back into games is a concern, however it is generally better than last season.

Comebacks such as those against FGR, both home and away, as well as against Cambridge at The Abbey would have been very unlikely last season.

no conference north! when we were supposedly relegated last time we had been put in to the conf north and when we were told that we had gained promotion back to the conference with out even kicking a ball we had to play with a squad ready for the conf north last season so that was why our league position was so poor last season.

Fundamental fact for us to stay up this season will be getting 1 (or preferably both) of Val and Bush back for as many games as possible. These fellas are solid, quality midfield players -Val to close down and win the ball (and score the odd cheeky goal) and Bush to set things up going forward. We'd have several more points if these 2 hadn't missed recent games. Get 1 or 2 of these back and we're OK.

COME ON ALTRINCHAM!!!
