I'm waiting to hear how bad Reeves's injury is before assessing how bad today's been.

News on the injuries,......Reeves pulled his right hamstring, never had a hammy before so not sure how bad until tuesday but he said it was sore. Dale got booted in the calf first half and muscle was well swollen, soundslike may be possible for FGR. Robbie Willaims was tentative all afternoon as worried about his groin, but it was OK, thus why he was a little indecisive today. Smithy out next week but OK after that, but Anthony back and maybe Shaun off the bench?

Dont know what team we will have tuesday as quite a few players are injured, suspended or ineligible, we could only think of 10 first teamers who could play, so sounds like Kenny will play a few of the youths, not that it matters,...providing we dont get any more injuries/suspensions >:(

Is it true that none of the new players can play even if we wanted them too?

Johnson, Young or Bateson?

Also, am I right to assume that the CSC final won't count towards either Smith or Connors's suspensions?

All ineligible as far as we know, defo Young/bateson Johnson too as wasnt on books at semi-final stage. Dale probably not fit anyway.

My view on today

Coburn - made some excellent saves and it could have been a worse day without him - correct decision for MOM
young - Steady and at least tried to get heads up, less effective at corners than last season
Williams - Lightweight, leaggy passes continually fail to find red shirt
Joseph - His fault for 1st goal, steady apart from that lapse
Pierliugi ( soz for spelling ) - steady. solid
Bateson - ?
Beesley - ?
Twiss - can hold the ball but had no-one to play to - still too slow
Johnson - had some good flicks and holding play, will be missed if injured
Reeves - missed a sitter again - will be missed if injured
Lawton - Played with passion, just lacking in agility-took goal well
Connors - Played with passion always snapping and is always likely to pick up cards HUGE miss next week
Clee - excellent skill level, but fades in 2nd half. needs to go direct more
Baynes - poor poor poor, playing like a can't be a**ed loan player that he is !
We played liked two teams today - the good passing team with ideas in the first and the relegation team with heads down in the second.
Its going to be a long few games

Agree with this, Bateson had a steady game did pretty well and Williams played terribly and think he made the whole back four/five look nervous, well done to Ken for spotting this, Shame Smithy wasnt fit, Beesley never got going,
To be fair we are probably one of the form teams in the league and have still got Dens to come back into the team

Just before he was subbed there a final straw when he gave it away for the hundredth time and McKenna ran to the sub and said "you're on right now!"

Seeing as Dale Johnson played for Hyde against us at Moss Lane in an earlier round of the competition, he is cup-tied and, therefore, ineligible for Tuesday's CSC Final.

What really annoys me about Baynes, is the fact that we have seen when he has played against us for Wrexham that he is a talented player, however he has absolutely no desire for the fight. Time and gain he pulls out of tackles that he should be winning. With Densi warming up again before yesterday's game and hopefully not too far from fitness, could we save some cash by terminating Baynes's loan?
