Top marks.  You'd not get me to the start line, never mind 16 miles in.

Saw a bit of Match of the Day earlier on, liked the flags the Liverpool fans had of Bob Paisley etc.  We need one of Mark.

Speaking of which, what are we going to call the Community Sports Hall?

Perhaps if it goes to a sponsor , then an advertiser board could be put up

Or the yellow banner infront of ALTY TV could host a permanent banner

Can anyone please do this for Mark: http://www.mndcampaigns.org/take_action/584_mnd_meeting_in_parliament_email_your_mp

Filling this simple form invites your local MP to the next meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on MND. I haver invited my MP Brian Donahoe adding the following to the invite: "I would also like to point you in the direction of Mark Maddox, a former footballer and coach and one of the bravest, stoical, modest and humble people I have ever met. Can I please ask you to read his blog which has me both laughing and crying: http://mads04.wordpress.com/ mark is the first MND sufferer to run and complete the London Marathon (against the advice of medical experts) and ask if he can do this to raise awareness of MND that you could please attend the above event."

If he can do this to raise awareness of MND we can do this little thing for Mark.

Thanks for posting, I've just sent one to Graham Brady.

It would be interesting to see if our MPs do turn up. I can't see my MP Brian Donahoe doing so as there's nothing in it for him. With Mark having played in Brady's constituency club I would be very disappointed if he didn't turn up.

Just read Marks latest Blog

http://mads04.wordpress.com/

To have undertaken the marathon in the first place is remarkable enough

To do that with MND is even more so

BUT

To know that you have an infection as he describes, yet to still do it and be so apologetic for not finishing..well words fail me

Have sent the request to my local MP. (The tallest MP in the house of commons but would never make it as a central defender Maddog)
