All that Twiss has to do is be an okay back up striker. Reeves and then Chadwick/Mullholland/Gall should do fine

If Mulholland can come here and replicate what he did last season we've got some hot property on our hands.

I don't think Twiss is massively overweight. He looks like a stick insect compared to the Fleetwood centre back pairing of McNulty and Greegan and I didn't notice any of our forwards getting much change out of them last season.

For me the inescapable fact is that his legs have gone. It happens to the best of players just look how Scholes suddenly aged towards the end of last season.

The crime is that I suspect his legs were gone before we signed him, witness his displays at Stalybridge.

As Ecky said we have him for the season so we may as well get off his back. I also agree he did more than Reeves today.

Whilst the defence is looking better we clearly have major problems up front.

Lets hope Lee can find a solution before Harrogate.

I would also add that having watched the Burnley and City games only Chadwick has looked much better than Twiss.

Worrying isn't it.

I think we'll learn more about our attacking prowess over the next few games. We shouldn't forget that we've played against two very good sides so far, probably of a far higher standard than we'll encounter throughout next season.

I'm not worried at all. Our strikers have been playing against excellent defences in the last two games. Maybe worry if we struggle against Buxton. I reckon Lee has a good choice of triallist strikers to sign.

Our forwards have been playing the likes of Onauha some premiership footballers dont get much change from players like that

If he's lost any weight, it's from somewhere it doesn't show. However, he actually did reasonably well today in my book - and on what I've seen of Gall and Mulholland he'd be a better option than either.

He's not likely to replicate his NWCL form in BSN. He's no bigger than Chris Senior, and nowhere near as skilful.

I cant believe some of the abuse Alty players get from people who are supposed to be Alty fans. Especially Twiss who seems to be the target of abuse whenever he puts on an Alty shirt. Supporters are supposed to 'support' their team and players not direct mindless and foul abuse at them. Just don't get some people - but its a forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion - regardless of how bizarre it may be.
